I bought 3. I got me and 2 for my boy and girl. And it won’t give me enough options to the devices to work independently of one another and they continually cancel each other out and there is, no matter how much research I do, no way of correcting this wrong.
Lost connection to my smart devices randomly and now it’s a whole evening trying to resync two lights. Try another product!
I just want to connect to this stupid free Google home mini via Bluetooth, why does the app require my location services to be turned on? Is my location not tracked enough as it is?
I am connected to Bluetooth and Wi-Fi, and the speaker tells me to connect in the google home app, when it is .
doesn’t follow commands, more often do crazy things, etc don’t like it at all
Very poor integration with Nest and Google’s own products. My home account without cause duplicated and split my chromecast and Nest devices under separate homes (with the same name). Nest no longer can decide when I’m home and when I’m away. Frequent connectivity issues with Nest. It does not have the functionality with the thermostat controls the account “migration” would suggest, so you can’t get discard the Nest app. I felt that I was forced to migrate, and it has caused nothing but problems. I gave double checked all the settings. This has also caused login problems through the web access that I use on my computer.
This review is on the app itself. My google home mini works just fine. But I just installed this app today when I got my google home mini and this app crashes anytime I try to do anything. I don’t understand how google as big of a company that it is has this issue with an app!!! Please fix this if it gets to working right I might change the rating.
This app is such trash. It doesn’t even work and when it does it’s so slow.
I bought the Google Nest Max to view Nest home security cameras. This device is leaps and bounds better that Amazo Alexa Echo Show. However you have to manually put a camera on to view it. The logical way this should work is viewer is idle until camera is triggered, an alarm sound as monitor automatically puts up the camera that is alarmed. Make this happen and it will be a complete product
Ever since I was forced to use the Home App, I can’t set up my chromecast (1st gen) anymore. It’s sad since the device is still perfectly fine and worked up until the day I had to set it up again, and the website told me to use the app. It can’t be found anymore. All troubleshooting led nowhere.
