Good and Bad

My kids like this app and they engage and could learn so much. But the sound doesn’t work for most of the activities so they don’t get what to do on most of the activities and I have to sit and we have to figure out what they’re supposed to do together.

Weird demonic looking images

So this app actually seemed really promising! I was looking for something for my elementary schoolers, so I downloaded the free trial and started to play around with it. The games seemed on track for the grade level I picked, and I liked how they could earn coins to “buy” little fish for their Aquarium. No weird ads popping up constantly. What was weird was when I went into one of the reading programs, it talked about casting spells to earn points, which isn’t necessarily the issue, depending on how you feel about that. But when that part is loading, there is a weird demonic looking face on the loading screen. I’m not sure why that’s necessary for kids at all, let alone as young as pre-k.
