I keep getting notifications, “keys found”, when keys aren’t lost! Please fix this!!!!
Hey! So, now that there’s user replaceable batteries I decided to get a couple tiles. And while the device so far is great, one thing is going to make it difficult to recommend:: the annoyance of the begging for a subscription. You charge a pretty premium price for these plastic squares, why exactly do you believe you deserve a subscription? Regardless, I should be able to completely hide all the subscriber junk.
Tiles are great! Multiple can’t be synced with phone because of crappy app.
Pros when it does work like its supposed to its a life saver. Cons: when you have multiple devices it often asked you to find the other device you don’t have to find your lost item from that device! As a result when you don’t know where the other devices you get to search around for it. Thus started recently. Other times when you need to find an item it wants you to walk around until you see it I can’t turn green and then it supposed to be near. Well let me tell you it’s always there and being forced to walk around is not my cuppa tea why you ask because I am in a power chair or wheelchair and I don’t appreciate being forced to wear when we’re on the apartment smoking in the walls because I don’t press your luck at your stupid screen or trying to figure out where the hell my device is! So stop the trash features and get back to doing your job!!
I would like some better instructions on how to use the app, other than basically “open app”. I went on their website and they were not any better
The functionality of Tile is awesome, and if you lose things, there is no better app to have. I have it on my keys, my wallet and even my make-up bag, as I am continually using it and then misplacing it. However, this app needs more development, especially since they charge premium clients roughly $30/ year, of which I am one. I have a problem with the app running in the background, but I understand why it has to. However, I recently found out that every time you receive a notification, saying that you left your keys or whatever at home, work, ectera, the notification remains on your phone! No swiping R or L to remove it- really!? I now have over 40 notifications since I purchased Tile and these notifications add up and I’m sure eat up memory and/or space on your phone. I was told by the Tile rep that it’s because Premium users can find out where you left your item in the location history 30-days out. However, once you find your lost items, you don’t need that information- it’s irrelevant. I can’t believe they can’t correct that. I have decided after my year, I will withdraw from Premium, as I don’t think it’s worth it. Again, the premise of Tile and finding your lost items is great, the app needs more work since they charge a premium price, they need to develop it more. Cynthia
Tile needs to put more effort into the quality of this app and to the reliability of their service. I returned all my tiles after using this app.
I have tried 3 times to retile and was too busy to stop and type in my information. Could you guys please just get Apple Pay on the retile option so I don’t have to spend 10 minutes typing in my address or waiting on PayPal to respond?
Don’t get me wrong, I love my tile but the support team should be more willing to help you out more. The customer is always right sort of thing. I didn’t realize my trial had come to an end. That was my fault. But when I contacted customer support they would not cancel my subscription the day of renewal or change my subscription to a monthly rate and reimburse me either way. They just simply said NO. They could not help me and I could t do anything about it. It’s been a few minutes since it went through. And they seriously can’t help me out. Never had this problem before with any other company. They also ignored my request to speak to a supervisor. All I wanted was some help since at the moment I really can’t afford to have that extra charge. We’re on a tight budget and now I have to rethink my budget in general for this month. So unhappy with customer support right now. They really seemed like they just wanted the conversation to end.
I used to be in love with this app and one Christmas bought it for everybody in the family. However, with the new tiles an update, it seems to be getting worse and worse. Right now I am on day seven of trying to find my car keys and still can’t locate them. I am beyond frustrated and have been crying. Of course the only time I really had to use the app it’s not working. I have tried to figure out a way to call the company but there are no telephone number. No support, no help.
