Currently using V6.1.13. Over time I have used Cachly in multiple states and European countries. Always works for me without issues. Take a little time to study the app. It is very powerful geocaching tool.
Cachly is far better than the geocaching.com app. It is very intuitive and easy to use and has better features. It is the only one I use on a regular basis.
This app is fabulous. I’ve been GeoCaching for many years but I first got Cachly about two years ago. Since getting it, this app has completely replaced the stock GeoCaching app for absolutely all of my use. It’s well-made, extremely intuitive, and visually pleasing. I can’t recommend it enough.
I love this App and have been using it since GCHQ took away my beloved premium pre-subscription based App. Between first purchase of this App and now,I’ve suffered vision loss. The new Dark Mode on IOS and fb and fb messages helps a great deal but I can barely use Cachly now. I really wish the Cachly team would either work on a dark mode or write the app to comply with the phone’s native dark mode settings. A dark map also would help a great deal. Thanks for doing what y’all do.
The best geocaching app out there. Great job Cachly
Geocaching seems fun and interesting until you realize all the readily accessible means of accessing the hobby require paid subscription. I was hoping this app having a cost out of the gait wouldn’t be like the others but it is unfortunately worse. The base and free geocaching app gives information on all basic caches with higher difficulty tiers only showing the location unless you pay the subscription. Cachly only gives basic information and the location of a cache. You can request the same information geocaching gives three times every 24 hours. The one benefit is there are some caches which geocaching does not show, though some that geocaching shows are not visible here meaning that slim benefit is essentially nonexistent. Why in the world would anyone pay for this app if they could get more usage out of a free one? I’m hoping I can get my money back simply out of principle of not paying a developer for this nonsense.
My GC app is frequently off by 90 degrees. Cachly is spot on!
Such a well made app. Packed with tons of features, but easy enough to use, and I’m discovering more cool things it does as I go. For geocaching when you are out of cell range this app is a MUST. It has an excellent downloadable maps for offline use - so good that I use it for offline maps even when not geocaching. You can download caches, logs, and photos. Store all that in a list, then you have access to all your target cache info when you are out off cell range. Even in regional parks close to town there is no cell coverage when you are down in a valley. For logging your finds you can enter your message and the app will upload later when you are back online. Even when I do have cell service I’ll still use cach.ly to save battery and also for some of its advanced features. Eg have the map show new caches with FTF available, or show lonely caches. Finally, it’s a very well made & good looking app. I too am an app developer and it’s clear that a ton of work has gone into this. Thanks.
Cachly makes caching so much easier!
