Bushel Farm (formerly FarmLogs) gives farmers both a ground-level and big-picture view of their farm’s operational and financial performance. Unlike multiple spreadsheets or messy notebooks, Bushel Farm organizes and centralizes an array of farm records - field maps, rainfall and satellite imagery, scouting notes, equipment, activities and inputs, grain sales and inventories, land agreements, work orders, and more. Powerful automation within the tool transforms farm records into valuable insights that farmers can use to plan and make decisions on their own or share with their grain buyers, agronomists, bankers, insurance providers, and other trusted farm partners. Insights include: cost of production; marketing position; profitability of grain sales; and profit and loss at the farm, crop, and field level. Integrations with John Deere® Operations Center and Climate FieldView® reduce the burden of manual entry for farmers, allowing seamless imports of field activities and input data. Farmers also have the ability to share field boundary shapefiles and field activity records from Bushel Farm, electronically rather than manually, for sustainability programs. Bushel’s data permission controls are built into the platform to ensure data privacy and sharing only when properly authorized by Bushel Farm users. Making better management decisions has never been easier. Download the app today and start a free trial. Questions or Concerns? Visit our support page or contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org. When it was Farmlogs loved the app! When they sold out to Bushel farms is all changed. Rain amounts not even close to accurate. Now they are charging $75 a year to get inaccurate rain totals. Delete if app.
I’ve used this App since it was Farmlogs. It was great to monitor food plots for hunting purposes, in addition to the rainfall feature. And it was free with a subscription option. Bushel bought Farmlogs out at some point, and now sometime after that, Bushel only offers subscriptions. I will now be uninstalling after using the app for a number of years.
I’ve had this app for several years. Now, I’m seeing a banner stating the free app will start charging on Aug. 28, 2023. I don’t think so, I will be deleting the app. If I want to know how much rain has fallen I will install a rain gauge in my backyard.
Don’t send rainfall notices until mid day
How to load more than one field
8/31-Slow updates. Slow to open. 12 hours later still no update. I know we got more than 2”, but app is showing NOTHING! Absolutely inaccurate. 9/1-Won’t update and still not showing rainfall on farm and home.
App is to expensive for a small time farmer. All I want to know is rainfall amounts so I don’t have to drive out to the farm all the time. Not paying 19.99 a month just for that.
Once you check how much rain you’ve gotten on your fields the first time that’s how much it’s going to say you’ve had until the next time you shut your phone off. It won’t refresh.
Had an old version that worked wonderfully. Then the app forced an update and now the features that I cared to look at (rainfall and gdd charts) aren’t available anymore
This is by far one of the best apps I’ve ever encountered. You are able to log in so many of ur variables and inputs and really fine tune ur operation
