I honestly cannot find a single flaw with this app. The way they organize the reading lists and the way they present the individual comics is stellar. They add new comics six months after publication date, which can be a bit of a turnoff for some, but I’m too busy reading everything I can get my hands on to worry about the new Lee comics that much.
I’m a big daredevil and captain America fan and can find almost every single comic and storyline and read as much as I want per month. It’s well worth the price
Like the title says, I like the app, but the lack of a 2 page display option blows my mind. I’ve got a 10.5 iPad and would very much like to take advantage of the size of the screen to consume comics in the most traditional way possible.
When I was a kid, I was always jealous of my friends and their collections of Marvel comics. I didn’t have the money to amass a huge collection, and I had to get a lot of my comics second-hand. And now, thanks to Marvel Unlimited, I have access to all the incredible stories I could never read when I was younger! And more incredibly, they have complete runs of tons of comics. I’m on F.F. #251, Avengers #232, and Amazing Spider-Man #244, and there hasn’t been a missing issue yet. Current comics come in about one year after their retail release, but with over 27,000 comics to read already, I’m not concerned with getting the most recent issues immediately. I know this sounds like an ad, but honesty it’s not. Marvel Unlimited is the best value of anything I subscribe to. If I could pay in advance for a lifetime subscription, I would do it immediately.
The upgrade basically did nothing. It’s still buggy. Not sure if it was intentional, but there is no longer a load bar on top. There's still the problem when i finish reading a comic, and click to read the next one and exit out of it, it doesn’t show the new comic on the home page (Currently reading section), but the old one i just read. Before, after i finished the comic, it would show up on the home screen, showing he next issue The app worked fine before, but after various updates, it just got worse. Only good thing is reading comics, searching, sorting all work fine
Shouldn’t be this hard to navigate through series.
As an early adopter, I keep hoping the experience will improve but it remains stagnant.
SO GOOD SO GOOD SO GOOD I LOVE THE COMICSS😆😆😆
I’m very disappointed with this app. I had it for a few months and enjoyed it. Then I began having issues. I sent multiple emails to there help option and got very little help. I ended up canceling my subscription after they took money from my account and didn’t assist me on how to access the comics I was billed for. I requested they refund me or give me one month free to compensate for the month I paid for. They suggested I contact iTunes. When I went to resubscribe a few months later. I ran into the same issue, I sent email after email along with a phone call to Marvel and still received no assistance just the same suggestions that they told me months ago. I love Marvel comics but I will Never use this app again.
I bought a subscription a few months ago maybe not sure.. used it for around a month and canceled cus I stopped reading comic books for a little bit. Then I got back into it a few days ago.. I renew my membership, the money was taken out of my account.. even on the App Store in subscriptions it said I was subscribed, but the app said other wise and said I was signed in, but didn’t have a subscription. So I couldn’t read any thing and I paid for nothing basically. Also requested a refund never got my money back.
