Terrible
It’s all in the title
Expecting a full screen view with complete comprehensive content. What I got was a limited screen view on my iPad and what seems to be limited content. Also no way to get my 39 bucks back even though canceling within 30 minutes. Don’t get the five star rating but I do give Consumers Report a five star rating just not this app.
This app does not connect to all data available on the CR website - used cars for example. I downloaded this app for assistance in buying a used car but was dismayed to see the app only has information on new cars. This was not clear on the app description. I’m a big fan of Consumer Reports but not this app.
So glad I subscribed to CR for their unbiased and objective reviews and ratings. There’s so many places to find reviews but it’s difficult to know how objective they are. CR’s reporting takes away the unknowns. There’s tons of information to help make the decision to buy or not.
You can’t go wrong using CR as a major item purchase advisor. Manufacturers almost always lean towards their products and advertisers make money by saying only good things about their customers or sponsors. CR presents the true value. Definitely worth the subscription price.
You can look up just about anything you’re planning to buy and consumer reports has the results
You don’t rate gas appliances! Gas is one of the cleanest forms of energy! Seriously! Clearly you DONT care about consumers any more!
Consumer Reports is my go-to service before any major purchase — and sometimes minor purchases. I have used it for well over ten years to help understand a product before buying it. They are independent in their product reviews (they are not sponsored or receive free goods in exchange for a review) and have I found that they are usually spot on in their assessments. The app itself has less information than their website but for a quick check to get your research started it is an excellent resource. I highly recommend a subscription as it helps you understand pros/cons of a product and in the end save you time and most importantly money.
I think it’s time for a version that can be used on the iPad in the landscape position.
