Great App, Greater Customer Service!

I’ve been using Guthook for years. The features are unmatched. Before today I haven’t needed their customer service. I am thrilled to let you know that they are fast, kind, and efficient. If you’re on the fence about purchasing just go ahead and do it. I promise you won’t be disappointed!

Especially Helpful for section hikers!

Helps so much as I try to negotiate finding and getting to and from trailheads .... etc. GPS coordinates of every spot go straight to car directions! Amazing!

This app is absolutely indispensable if hiking a supported trail. I really appreciate that it has been constantly improved over time. When I contacted support for assistance (twice in four years), I received quick, top notch response and issues were resolved.

Great customer support!

Needless to say this is a great app, very useful for planning my section hikes. I just recently had issue with it looking on, seems when I changed my username to my trail name it got mixed up with another user. Darn, one of the developers got in touch with me right away. They did not know initially what the problem was but stayed in contact with me the whole time working it out. Wish everyone had this kind of customer service! Havana

Outstanding mapping

I’ve used this APP on my hikes and it is accurate, easy and a great tool to keep close when you’re out on the trail.

Don’t Chang phones

If you purchase anything be prepared to buy it again. Forgot password has not sent email and switching phones has sacrificed all of my purchases WITH THIS APP ONLY! Good Luck!

AT hike

Loved the Guthooks app while on my 2018 through hike of the AT. However I’d like to download new trails and am unable to do so now. What’s going on?

Must Have

This is the best trail guide app hands down. I thru hiked the Appalachian Trail in 2019 and it was great for looking up reliability of water sources, camp sites, town info, and so much more. Would highly recommend any backpacker or thru hiker get this app!

If you’re serious about planning...

GUTHOOK’s Guides are the only way to go. Used it on the AT and I’m in the process of planning out my PCT thru-hike.
