Easy to set up and use, AI updates contacts, Great layout for companies and people
The first day I used Cloze I searched for notes that I had used to contact a new customer. The new customer had delayed getting intouch with me so when he did finally reach put my memory had lapsed on why he would be a good new customer. Incredibly, I searched for his name and several items popped up. Honestly, I doubt I would have found them on my own. That was impressive. Why four stars? Because I don't understand what I can and can't do with Cloze. Do I just keep using my regular apps like Outlook, Fantastical, Evernote, etc.? Need training to have some confidence in this apparently remarkable app.
They tell you that it’s Free!! It’s Free for 2 weeks just enough time to get your contacts loaded up and you get comfortable using close. Then they tell you that you can use the product after your trial is done. They don’t tell you how much is left to use. They strip out All of the useful stuff
I was excited at first when I read the description of this app. I am a project manager and product owner of a multi-national media company and I manage people across the globe. From Hong Kong to Argentina. I thought I’d have in Cloze all my tools bundled into one app. Dream come true. Then when it came to connect my working tools to it, I was extremely disappointed to realize the only integrations they have are Google, Slack, Evernote and some TelCo carries. That is about 10% of the tools I use to manage my projects and CRM. I don’t see myself using it. At all. But did waste some time in downloading, configuring and thereafter realizing this is not what I need. And I just wasted a bunch of time.
Cloze May have cool features that they advertise but beware once your trial is ending their system will say that the cost is only $16 a month to continue the service. Then once the trial ends their system will recommend a higher priced plan based on your feature usage. Most likely you will choose that plan, but later find out you will have to again upgrade to a higher monthly plan because the recommended plan didn’t include all the features used during the trial. This causes you to lose key features that you thought you got when upgrading the subscription. The process is a bit misleading so make sure you get the correct plan upfront so that you don’t lose a ton of data that was previously input into the CRM once you purchase the “recommended” plan...
I was trying to set up Cloze and while connecting social media accounts felt like I was scammed into agreeing to a free trial that end briefly then automatically charges my account with an unspecified amount on a periodic basis. So it seems if I continued with set up I will be agreeing to a free trail and charged after trial was over I did not want to agree to a free trial or be charged for a subscription to anything. I want to just delete the app and go on about my business but I’m afraid I’m going to be receiving charges on my bank statement for a service I never used, understood, or even wanted to agree to.
Is just amazing great
This app looks great and would be easy to use if it had an option to upload social contacts. It will pull your email contacts but I could not find the option to upload my social contacts...not even manually. Very disappointing. I tried to ask on the help page but got no where...
I’ve been using Cloze for over a year and I’m very happy with it. First, with most CRM tools, you have to start by entering a lot of data - Cloze starts by importing data from the tools you already use, like email, phone, social media, notes. It then helps keep the contact data updated, by checking email footers and other sources like data services. It also automatically links new communications like email, phone calls, notes to contacts. The system also tracks email details like whether my sent emails have been opened by the sender, reminds me when I’ve made a commitment in an email that I need to put in my calendar, and more. For pipeline, it uses a kanban board interface so I can see quickly where a prospect is in the pipe and next steps. One of my favorite features is search - I can do searches on all the indexed content from email, notes headers, phone, contact details like job, and more. I sometimes can’t recall names but can use other bits of data in a search to find contact names. It also supports prospecting tasks like outbound emailing, but I haven’t used that yet. Plus, the system gets better and better with regular new releases of functionality. Great work, Cloze!
Don’t let the ugly and archaic UI fool you, this app is extremely powerful from a functionality standpoint. I tried about 20 different CRMs and none have this feature set. And shockingly it’s only $20/month for pro when all the others are $60/m or more. I’d really like to see Instagram DMs and Facebook messages incorporate. I wish that search pulled results from notes. I wish the sales pipeline had a functional Kansan view in mobile. I wish tags were listed without having to search. Definitely would like more customization options. And of course I’d love to see a sexy speak design (and in particular something done about the laborious settings menu). With all that said I’m very pleased and highly recommend. The more paying users they have the more I imagine the app will grow and improve.
