It’s a cut just slightly above other dating apps
Sure, it’s more engaging than some other dating apps like Tinder, or Bumble, but truthfully, I can use it doesn’t feel that different

Don’t sell yourself-worth for $34.99 a month
Your entire being, psychological state, love, health, time reduce to tyranny of hinge cloud. Explains the phenomenon behind the psychological need for therapy. Even the users of hinge would ironically joke “let’s make up story where we met”. If you truly care for yourself worth, relationships, friendships, socialization stay away from technological traps like “Hinge”.
Hinge is the Best Dating App Right Now
I’ve used Bumble & Tinder in the past with some luck (more on Bumble’s side), but after trying them again after a several year hiatus, they were garbage and ran awful algorithms to keep you waiting longer. Hinge has been nothing short of successful for me. I am consistently getting matches and likes, which means I KNOW I’m being shown. The amount of detail you can put into your profile (—and if you’re not getting matches, it’s because of your profile) is amazing and easily creates conversation starters. Speaking of starting conversations, the ability to actually start a conversation by sending a message with your likes is an absolute game-changer.

Can’t leave likes on iPad Pro 13
@thedevelopers As per the title, I can’t leave comments/likes on the iPad version. After hitting the done button, the button just slides upwards and vanishes without anything else happening.

Terrible
Hinge (like all dating apps) is terrible for men, great for women. Most users are men, women rate 80% of men as below average attractiveness, you can send likes all day and maybe get one back, who will ghost you after sending a single message back. It’s because she’s seeing someone she met in real life but he’s a d!ckhead so she uses dating apps to get validation for her attractiveness. Save yourself the trouble king, meet women in real life.

It says it’s learning who you like but then gives you 100’s of people you aren’t anywhere near attracted to. Not trying to be shallow but this app must just pull from the bottom of the pile. I’ve gotten way more traction in just good conversations from bumble. Also, make it easier to reject/go to the next if you’re going to give 1 good one out of 250 no’s.
False advertising
It says get hinge+ from 14.99 a month then you click it and changes to the lowest at 30$ a month that’s ridiculous
