You were so good when it was free. Spent hundreds of hours on it at night, between classes and when I was down. Helped me learn music but I know that now since you don’t have the right to incorporate Spotify with it you have to make us pay; however, I refuse to pay for Spotify for this. I like mixing music but not to the point I’ll pay for it to mix. The review is solely for turning it from a free app to a MUST pay APP. I’m truly sad that I have to delete it now 😔
The whole app is just a paywall. You have to pay 15$ a month just for a app, I would be okay if some songs were locked behind pay wall but none are.
Don’t be fooled by the youtube tutorials. Interface is frustrating and clunky to get things right. No recording the mixes so I guess have fun posting it to the internal forum? $5 a week is nothing short of insane for a frustrating app, and by the way, with Spotify you’ll find most songs not available. Steer clear. There are plenty fine free options.
This app was my Go-To! I had some great mixes that I’d listen to to and from work, and my Spotify would tag team and it was awesome! But here we go, an update that said it would be charging me every week. Then, it got rid of most of the music. So half of my mixes are no longer vibing! I redownloaded but even the features when adding a song, it almost goes nothing with it. Please go back to your old ways!!! I was a huge fan!
In Pacemaker 3.0, it locks you out of the app until you pay a fee of $5.00 a week
I read all the complaints. The fact that you want to try a new business model, doesn’t give you the right to discontinue the previously paid licenses, and in-app purchases. By ignoring paid customer’s legitimate complaints, makes it worse. 😡 After a long silence, Pacemaker decided to answer to the complaints with a template excuse. The apology completely contradicts on how pacemaker features the changes on the app store, and in the app. Actions speak louder than words. I am very disappointed. I will escalate with Apple. I want my money back! 😡
What’s the point of making a free app when you have to pay for the main thing they advertise?!?!
I have been an active DJ and events music person since the mid-80s. Pacemaker was a phenomenal addition to use for premixed audio and genre events. Apparently now, Spotify is not allowing third-party DJ apps to do any type of mixing, BPM, etc. and this app is now useless. What a shame. I hope this changes as I have now completely stopped using the app. The interface, user friendliness, etc. is phenomenal within this app but without Spotify it simply will not work.
Listen! As a music lover, enthusiasts and music creator, this app was the best thing on the App Store. Like they all say good things can’t last forever we all know the reason why Spotify isn’t supporting this app anymore; it has to do with revenue streams and artist not receiving royalties. All this app had to do (Pacemaker) was charge the user more which I would have gladly paid. I’d pay up to $25-$30/m for this app because it’s that good and could be even better than it was (multitude of app crashes). Teaching fitness classes, this app changes the game as well as listening to mixes by myself for my own pleasure. Now I can’t even do that with the countless gaps in the music that aren’t even available anymore. It took Spotify 4 years to add Beyoncé’s full discography and it will probably take this app countless years to add the music catalogues from our favorites artists. So thanks for trying to remedy the issue of Spotify and Apple not supporting your app but no thanks. Fun while it lasted. Leaving 4 stars for the good memories of using this app but I will not pay $16.99 for an 1/8 of the music available to me as before. Work on fixing the issue. Raise the price even and I’ll be back once the music is back.
Now I can’t access anything, I must subscribe?
