Overall just hard to use and not much customization to make finding what I need easily or accessible. Deleted after 24 hours and going back to the mail app on iPhone. I wanted to change the nickname so it showed up as the name for easier access to find the email account I wanted. Also to be able to refresh all the accounts at the same time. That’s all I can remember off the top of my head. Just overall didn’t find it easy to use on the go.
I hate this app but am unable to delete it!
Dislike this app
To many ads!
I used to get incoming messages in my inbox, but now they appear only in UNREAD folder. What’s the use of an inbox if it doesn’t contain new messages?
This app worked great until several updates ago, at which point it began freezing, seemingly, at random. I continued to update the app in the hopes this problem would be fixed, but it has only worsened and I am abandoning the app at this point. FWIW, I am running it on an iPhone SE with 128GB of memory.
I did uninstall and reinstall the app but I was still having the same problem. However ever since the most recent app update my mail is working great! Ever since the last update I have had many issues in previewing in-coming mail. Every time I try to open the email the app closes down. Have shut my phone down and still the same issue. Very frustrating.
What a piece of junk, how in the hell you sign out of this email app on a iPad? Help line wasn’t much help.
I’ve have this app for a total of five minutes so far and I already love it. I’ve avoided downloading the yahoo mail app for a long time because yahoo just wasn’t my primary mail account so it didn’t seem worth it. Today I got yet another email from a company claiming I signed up for something I didn’t all because of that Chegg account breach a while back. I’be used my yahoo email for so many sites over the years that I can’t even keep track of whatever data might have been leaked from my account at this point. So today I downloaded the yahoo mail app hoping it would help me organize my email. Let also mention that I’m a very particular person - I like to mark my emails as unread even when I’ve read them so I know what to follow up on (flags don’t work for me), I have multiple email accounts to juggle, and for today I specifically wanted to go through every emailing list I didn’t need and unsubscribe from whatever I could so the hackers wouldn’t get any ideas. The Yahoo Mail app let me add my mail accounts more seamlessly than the Apple mail app, didn’t automatically switch to a new email after I deleted one because I wasn’t prepared to read another one yet, and every time I needed to click an unsubscribe link, it didn’t have to take me out of the app and open yet another browser tab. Not to mention the app is so aesthetically pleasing, let’s me color code my accounts, blocks out my emails by date, and lets me customize how I want. And I know this review may not be the most helpful for people that aren’t crazy like me, but it was a very soothing experience that let me pretend that I have control over my life for five minutes. So I thank the developers for that.
