I used a different reminder app for years and it worked ok. Then they had a massive update and it never worked right again for me. I was in the market for a new to do list when I stumbled upon Todoist. It is worth every penny. Best to do/reminder/list app that exists.
I first downloaded and subscribed to ToDoist 6 years ago when I was in college. It was a valuable tool through your school! Now that I am in my career and have a family, it is even more invaluable as I use it to keep track of and prioritize work responsibilities, honeydos, kids appointments, and even house chores. Couldn’t live without it!!
This was an outstanding task management package. However, significant performance issues are hampering usage. The app frequently freezes. If you wait 15 seconds or so it will come back but very frustrating.
The most helpful self management app I use. Period. Helps me manage all the activities in my life. Very intuitive, easy interface, never glitches. Love it.
I love this app. I have tried almost every to do app and this is by far my favorite!
Everything in this app you can do with free apps your iPhone comes with. When you use this app you have to pay a stupidly expensive subscription to access features that literally already exist on your phone when you purchased it. I don’t know who is buying this, Microsoft todo is another app you can download that has everything this app has but for free. Why the absurd subscription?
I’ve tried two or three other time / task programs, without success. Let’s face it: staying organized can make a huge difference in how much you accomplish in a day (or a life!) With Todoist, I’ve found a time management partner! All those little details I’d rather forget about, now get done. The app is so easy to use, that I actually enjoy setting up tasks and knocking them down. Also love the karma points. Little things make a big difference.
This is a good app, but I don’t like how it handles daily recurring tasks when I don’t mark them complete until after midnight. In that case they don’t count as being completed on the day they were scheduled for, but for the next day, and then don’t show up again the next time they’re due but instead over a day after they were completed. It would be nice to have a setting so tasks completed by maybe 3:00 AM could count toward the previous day. I thought I’d found a workaround by scheduling tasks to recur every 24 hours, but just found out they shift by an hour when daylight saving time starts in the US, which is annoying when I have a lot of daily tasks. Other than that, I really like the widget, that tasks with a lot of text show multiple lines of text in lists, and being able to turn off alerts for some tasks.
The hashtag option to categorize your list is great for organizing along with reminders
Helpful - love the prioritization features.
