Awesome, but I miss the old format from like a year ago. Besides that it's great and I enjoy learning different languages.
Awesome app, it really is! I’ve learned so much already. Only reason I give it 4 stars is because I have been having trouble with spelling. There’s not an actual “alphabet” lesson. I’d like a study lesson that would teach you the sounds of their alphabet. In the Russian alphabet there are 33 letters, most of which do not match the English alphabet. This is causing me issues because I’m still not sure which letters make what noise so it makes sounding out the words for spelling difficult.

The app is amazing! They give you clues to what the words mean and you can buy the little bird outfits I do wish we could see more of him tho, and if some how you could add Mores Code and/or ASL that would be cool👍🏼
Duolingo, you are wonderful. I’ve been very motivated and have learned so much in a few months. However, with your latest update to have only 4 lessons per level you’ve cheapened yourself so that you’re rewarding people sooner. I know you want to keep people motivated, but four lessons are NOT enough. Especially in the higher levels. Too many new words are being thrown at me and I don’t have enough lessons to really commit to memory. Bring it back where there were 4/8/12/20. Also, the last level needs to be challenging. CHALLENGE US! We are here to learn... not to play a game.
I love this app because it’s a great learning tool and amazing for keeping a language that is not used regularly fresh in your mind. The one thing that really bothers me is I have learned/ would like to continue to learn Mexican Spanish and that’s not an option. The Spain Spanish is throwing me off and making it confusing. An option for both would be great!!!
There should be a section where we can review the words we learned And pronunciation. Example: a list with word written in the language we’re learning then pronunciation then translation. I hope that makes sense.
It’s good but I wish with the new update you didn’t have to use those gem things for tests :(
I never thought I would learn as much as I have from an app. My only complaints are that it is not forgiving of typos sometimes, but sometimes it is. Obviously autocorrect on iPhone is a pain sometimes, so DuoLingo should understand. It also lacks explaining for grammatical rules. Otherwise, great tool for vocabulary and learning basic phrases.
I love this app!! I just have something to say... The hearts shouldn’t be there because i want to learn a different language, but not a next lesson in 4 hours because i really love learning about a different language :((( plz help
