The same stories clog the App for multiple days. It’s very hard to navigate through the clutter to find the new stories.
Even though I follow instructions provided. Signing out and then back in through FB seems at first to work—the app displays my name in a greeting. But when I click through to an article I hit the paywall. Restore Purchase button hangs the app. Never had a problem with any of this until the latest major IOS release. I have contacted support several times and never heard back. Perhaps this will get their attention
Love the app, and love the News-Press for publishing hard-hitting news and enterprise journalism for a local audience. I only wish you would respect readers’ request to opt out of different news alerts. I have Sports Alerts turned off for a reason. I don’t want to know about sports updates. It’s different when it’s a huge breaking news story, but listicles and other things of the like (i.e. “Top things to watch at Florida v bla bla”) shouldn’t be pushed to readers via notifications who specifically opted out of that in their settings (namely, me, and others in my situation). You gave us the option, so thank you, but please stick to it and be mindful when crafting the push alerts. Thanks again for all your hard work.
Always wants me to subscribe when I’m already subscribed,not worth the hassle.
Am a weekly subscriber - 7 days a week and lastly at least 1 day a week I have not been getting my paper delivered. Called customer service was told you have shortage of paper to print daily pAper!! I have not heard of paper shortage in USA! Also the recorded messages are unable to process my request when I call to tell them the delivery issue- very frustrating! I don’t think am going to renew my subscription when it expires- the news press!
Sign in has been broken on this app for months. After entering username and password it cycles and reloads the sign in page.
I don’t recommend. It’s easier to read articles from the web page.
