The News Press is garbage. Not just because they’re completely left leaning. No, they also overcharge your account and give terrible customer service. Also missed plenty of deliveries
I enjoy readingThe News Press and USA today. My frustration is with the app. I can’t tell you the number of times that I have been signed in to my paid subscription and it gives me a screen that asks me to subscribe. I actually canceled my subscription a couple of months ago and eventually renewed it because I really wanted access to the stories. Now again, the app is asking me to subscribe! And not letting me read the article!!!!!!
I switched to digital due to the amount of paper waste I was contributing to. In addition, some weekdays the print copy was scant. While I’m not navigating it as well as I had hoped, I’m working at it. I do feel better about not adding to the garbage pile
I appreciate having the News-Press app to easily catch-up on local news and stay better informed of what’s happening in Florida.
I pay $414.00 per yr for my home delivery.You want $10.per mo.to see the same news. I’ll tell you when my delivery payment comes due I’m going to cancel and then I’ll pay for the app and save $300.per year William OToole
I’ve been using this app for years, and it used to be good and reliable. Recently, it has been logging me out, and refusing to allow me to log back in. I know this is a problem specific to the app, because I can still go to the website on a pc without a problem.
We are consistently disconnected from News Press customer support and technical support mid sentence. Usernames and passwords do not work regularly. We were baited and switched when offered a bundled subscription for the News Press and Indy Star for $1 for first 6 months and $9.99 per month thereafter. We were disconnected and then called back and customer support said they don’t bundle and only had access to the News Press.
I called and spoke to someone to reset my password I followed her directions and signed in It didn’t let me put in a new password and I can’t read any articles They don’t make it easy Now I probably have to call them again

After renewing my subscription the format changed for the worse! The old format read more like the paper version, please bring it back as an option!
