10/10 can 100% use to look at the Ever Given sitting still in the Suez Canal. Perfect app.
This app is fun to watch freighters go by my view of slake Michigan. I would like more free info since it’s only for fun, I’m not willing to pay.
4.99 and wasn’t even updated within an hour. Last gps locations on most boats was 6-8 hours ago. Then asked to upgrade for .99 cents to see up to date locations. Done this and was only for 24 hours.
So, there’s the free app that gives you the ships data while it’s close to land. Once it leaves a certain range you can no longer track it...fair enough. In comes the $4.99 version of the app to give the same thing!!! The ship I’m tracking or hoping to track is not in range for the free app nor the $4.99 app....unless I pay $0.99 cents per day to get the information. Rip Off!!
I work on a tug. When I got this ap some years ago it was pretty good. Now it’s always hours behind, and wants you to spend another .99 per day for accuracy. $30.00 per month! I don’t think so.
Truly enjoy the information on the ships as well as tracking their travel.
This app does not do anything more than the publicly available ship tracking websites. None of the information on the app is any better or more up-to-date than those other websites. The app itself does not provide many functions, unless you sign up for an account, which did not function. I was unable to insert my country or state to complete the registration to log-in. I certainly feel like I was duped into paying for an app that doesn’t work. I received an email asking for further feedback. It sent me to a link to a generic and positively worthless site. I will fully reiterate the complete and total rip-off that this app is and hold Apple responsible for allowing this app to exist. You clearly have my info. If you legitimately care about feedback, I would be happy to elaborate, but please don’t placate me with insincere and fake emails.
I realize the need to make money off of the apps but this one, though free is pretty good. I keep track of our favorite cruise ships and while living on Lake Superior, I was able to name the vessels as they passed by in the distance. 03-12-2018 Update I have been cruising for decades now and this app has been a valuable tool in watching not only the ships around us in real time but in planning new ports, seeing where each cruise ship berths for the night. We’ve made many friends working for the cruise line and with this app we continue to watch their destinations. The new updated feature are awesome. If I were in the cruising or shipping industry, the paid version would be essential. Still considering........ UPDATE: if you want to know what is happening with the cruise ship industry, this remains your best source of information.
I bring my 86 year old cousin to the river every day to look at the boats. She loves them and the app helps me know when she will see one. She has dementia so this is a wonderful pass time for her❤️
