Can’t edit videos how I want
Quik pro does not allow me to edit videos on my own format and length. I’ve searched all over YouTube looking for a tutorial on how to edit my own videos but could not find anything. Now, I’m forced to save my videos and individually and edit on YouTube. I don’t even know if that will work. I have wasted hours and hours on something that’s supposed to be Quik and easy. All I wanted was to edit the way I want. And now, I have wasted time writing this review. After this project is over I’m returning go pro and canceling Quik subscription.
Go try but needs improved
Needs to be more intuitive ( do some focus groups) and faster. Even with very fast internet working from their cloud is too slow. Nobody wants those painfully long lags.
Paid for subscription, treated as ‘Trial’
I paid $25 for an annual subscription. When I tried to cancel to keep it from renewing it said I was canceling my ‘trial’ and would lose access. Shady business practice.
I love this app use it on a daily basis
This app works incredibly well for my everything! The reason I’m saying this is because it works as a great GoPro remote it has a great video editor and all-around. I just love the UI and it looks very well. It works perfect with my GoPro hero seven white and with my family members GoPro hero seven silver, I can control anything through this app for my GoPro. For example, I can change the camera, settings, zoom, and so much more. I love this app because it makes video editing just so much simpler and it takes the long hard put in hours to making a good edit sometimes simple edits take me 2 to 3 hours for only 3-7 min of video but this narrows it down to minutes. perfect for beginners and pros. Overall just made my life a whole lot easier.
New Update Ruins App
This was my favorite app for years! A few weeks ago they updated it and now it’s so slow that I can’t edit anything from the cloud. So bummed!! I pay for subscription and everything
The app
The editing is clunky, and you have to turn off go pros presets which is annoying.
They took away tools
I really like the easiness of the app to edit. However, they use to have a feature that allowed you to adjust the videos volume along side any music (basic in app tunes) you added to it so you could raise the music volume in certain parts of the video and lower it in others. Now you either get the option of nothing but music, or no music at all. There’s no tools to adjust and edit the music throughout the video. They also took out options to transition your videos together. The app was on its way to be great and they killed it.
