Gopro, for no apparent reason, took away the ability to change camera settings from the app. Sure there’s other ways of changing settings (excluding my session 5 making it WAY less useful) but it’s a huge inconvenience to dismount my cameras, and use the camera screen every time I need to change a setting. The worst part is they took it away for no good reason. No, I don’t want to use a proprietary controller to change settings; I would like the old feature back. Unfortunately, GoPro’s feedback to the community after the update does not indicate they care about giving this feature back. What a shame.
The phone upgraded to the new version and I found out that all of my ProTune settings are gone now!!! There is no way to fine tune settings from the phone anymore and it’s so much easier to do from the phone than to mess around with a tiny menu items on the small camera screen, let alone changing things on the screen less GoPro session!!! I have at least 6 different GoPros and I used ProTune all the time and now it’s so annoying, seriously, please bring back ProTune stuff to the app, it really is an essential feature of the app!! 1 star until the ProTune settings are back unfortunately.
Super slow and unresponsive.
GoPro is amazing!!!
I cannot believe how bad this app gets with each new iteration. Honestly, you should be embarrassed about letting the public see this. Absolutely terrible. You’re literally removing key features that make your unbelievably overpriced hardware products easier to use to make room for a social network? Really? Who thought that would be smart?
Seems to work alright. I wish the iPad app supported landscape mode better. Sometimes it doesn’t switch or will revert to portrait. Also better handling for duplicate files
Why remove pro tune features? For what purpose would a company remove a feature while consecutively releasing a new product that would force users to buy the new product? Hmm... Shame on you capitalist pigs. I paid for my product and your reducing the features so I can’t use what I paid for anymore.. borderline fraud and definitely bad business. Booooo hissssss -1 star
I own 2 GoPro Session5’s which I now can no longer change settings on because GoPro removed the Protune option on their app. They did this to force their new and existing customers into buying another product, the GoPro remote. They took away something that costs nothing to give us just to make us pay money for it. Will no longer be using GoPro products, will encourage everyone I know to get an insta360 or dji osmo instead
WTH was the point of this now I can’t adjust protune settings my back screen on my GoPro stopped working a little while ago and i figure o no big deal I have the app and for some reason they can’t seem to explain they took functions out of the app and there solution is to buy there remote problem is I can’t connect to the remote because I need the screen
