IKitesurf is the top wind app because they have the most weather sensors and the most high resolution forecast models that better predict local conditions. That said, the user interface lacks consistency and I have found annoying bugs in the Android version that they have not been able to fix. The iPhone version uses harder to read fonts and seems to not respond to clicks as well as the Android version.
The display was a lot better on my Android phone compared to my new iPhone. On the iPhone the wind arrow icons are all so tiny - much harder to see. Please fix - thx
Great resource. Accurate and very useful.
Saves time and gas. Customer support is friendly and prompt.
Really user friendly and easy to get right to the info.
I’ve been using your app for bout 3 years. Over the last 6 months I’ve been having a lot of trouble getting the app to wrk correctly. When I’m in map view, and click on a weather site, and then try to view the actual wind real time, the graph does not open up. I get a blank screen. Very frustrating. I reloaded your app, thinking that would solve it, and it did for a couple of tries, but now it doesn’t work. You need to fix this or IL end up canceling my subscription. Thanks
This is a solid app for forecasts and most of the time real wind conditions. The meter at our beach isn’t correct (points west when it’s blowing east, etc) but we work around it. Paying for the $3.99 version and it has the right amount of functionality. Used to have the 9.99 version and we never used it to full capacity.
This site seems accurate, great for fishing!
I am a motor yacht owner and find this app to be spot on when going out.
Seems to pretty much never be accurate in the central Florida area. Horrible app. Needs to be recalibrated for cocoa beach. Does not forecast correctly.
