This app blows. It made me reset my password and from there on out when I would try to login, it would log me in, but I was unable to see my team or league or anything. I will no longer be using ESPN for fantasy football purposes.
This is my second year playing fantasy. I actually don’t mind most of the interface, although some changes could obviously improve it. Notifications would be nice. When trades are offered, I have no way of knowing they’re there unless I tap on “Roster” and see a badge icon waiting for me. My biggest complaint is that the ads are too much. When there is an update on a player, I can opt to watch a brief segment on said player. Every video I try to watch, I’m met with the same exact irrelevant 30 second ad. I don’t mind watching the ads once or twice, since it’s a “free” platform and they need to make their money somewhere. The problem for me is when I want to watch 10+ player videos, and I’m met with the same, unskippable 30 second ad. After watching the ad, it should give you an option to skip the ad after 10 seconds. Even better, if you watch the ad once, maybe skip over the remaining ads for a certain amount of time? I know I’m asking Disney to give up their greed, in a time where they’re taking huge financial hits on multiple fronts, but there is no reason this app could not be the one fantasy app to rule them all. I firmly believe that with just a few changes to the app, they could really own the market with fantasy.
Tried multiple times to see my teams and even though the site recorded a successful login, I am not logged in.
Very disappointed I was invited at the beginning of the season to join someone’s league everything was fine now all of a sudden I can’t see any of my stuff but get my notifications for it
When I’m in the “players” section looking for FA to add to my fantasy football time, the app will stall and stay frozen and I’ll either have to force close and reopen only for it to happen again every time
Is a communist network
Freezes all the time. Unbearable.
Navigation of this app compared to yahoo fantasy is very difficult. Getting to future weeks matchups, searching for players stats and projections, and viewing other teams lineups could be much easier.
After sitting out this round of fantasy baseball, I learned I can no longer access the app without updating, which requires an IOS that I have avoided installing asking as possible for other reasons. Indicative of ESPN’s approach to fantasy sports, which is to force feed with minimum flexibility on the part of the user. Control over the fantasy product has barely adjusted in 10 years but now I’m being forced to an IOS that no other app I’m running requires.
Can’t pull up a lot of the time. Very frustrating.
