I use this to monitor my spending and it works great
I have multiple cards and like to use this app to record all of my purchases easily across all of the cards. It also has nice features to categorize purchases into eating out or travel expenses so I can see just how much is being spent in one space or another over the whole month. You can even include monthly subscriptions to subtract each month so you don’t have to re-enter the purchase each time. I really love using this app and highly recommend using it to help keep track of finances as long as you don’t mind manually recording the entries.
Love the App
Easy to keep track of money and expenses, works for me
Just what I need for tracking monthly expenses😊
I was looking for a simple yet effective app that would help me see exactly where my money is going so I can find what part of my spending is necessary, where it’s wasteful, and find ways to do better. I love being able to have as many categories as I want to really break it down. How much of my income each month is from my full time job and how much from a freelance side job? Instead of just “entertainment” how much is going to books vs. music vs. movies? There’s even a place to make notes for more detail. At this point, I’m not looking for financial advice from an app and I don’t want to link an app to my bank account. If you want those things, keep looking. I’m looking for a portable, efficient alternative to a notebook and a calculator and I’m fine with entering my amounts manually. In fact that’s helpful so I don’t forget to log cash transactions that an automated bank-linked app would miss. I want to track income and expenses graphically and in detail. This app does that perfectly. If that’s what you want too and you’re willing to enter everything manually, then I highly recommend this app.
Super easy and very practical
I kept trying to find a very simple app that would replace my budget/ expense spreadsheet and this one is it. Very simple but easy to use. Has exactly what you need and not all the complicated graphs or layout others have and the upgrade is like $2! Only thing I would like they tweak is in the transaction section I would like to manually move around the order. Other than that it’s awesome!!
Overall a good app, but a major flaw (at least for some users) is that while you can list expenses chronologically (ie - oldest on bottom, newest on top) by date, the app will still put newest expenses of the day at the bottom of the list for that day, even though by date oldest is bottom, newest is top. This is completely unintuitive and doesn’t make sense, especially when searching through many expenses on a given day. Overall though, good app.
