We are very pleased with the apps precision in providing an excellent and informative tour. It was as if the narrator was in the vehicle with us. Great solution for a guided tour when traveling during Covid. Would highly recommend.
We absolutely loved the walking tour in downtown Tulsa. It was especially awesome that the narrator’s voice is the Sheriff from the Cars animated films! Looking forward to more TravelStorys tours to compliment our cross country road trips. Cheers.
I used this app on my most recent trip to Yellowstone and I loved it. They have so many tours! I’m going to use it on my next trip too!
I downloaded all of the places and things that I wanted to listen to while in the Tetons but I was able to listen to only a couple stories and then it would repeatedly crash. Usually when the service went down but I thought that was the whole point of downloading on WiFi before you go. Great idea but I wish it would have worked for us.
Interesting that I’m able to download other cities, but every time I try to download mine the app says I’ve time out, need to connect to WI-FI, and try again. After trying over and over and over I give up. Great idea for an app, but there seem to be too many glitches.
The app won’t start on iOS 13. It crashes right after the first screen.
This app never opened it keeps crashing.
The app is incredibly easy to use and has lots of cool features. At the same time, there could be more information and more substance about the history and architecture. I look forward to seeing this app develop and improve.
Used the app for a recent road trip on I-70 west from Denver to Grand Junction. The app is great, worked flawlessly. The I-70 content is OK, learned lots about bison and sheep and other topics. The downside is that it contains LOTS of advertising. Also, one segment was devoted to things like the proper way to brush your teeth, not using plastic straws and other stuff unrelated to the drive. TravelStorys might need to start reviewing the content before publishing to ensure the content providers stay on topic and don’t excessively self-promote.
Well- who would have thought, the trona tundra on the outskirts of the Utah Unitas was as surprisingly pleasant and informative as any high cost “hipster” paid for guided tour in the more developed park areas; no offense Yellowstone and Yosemite!! This is so much easier and budget friendly- did I mention INFORMATIVE?! This app will forever be on the ready when my pick-up is cruising!!
