Not useful

This app relies in KP predictions which are rubbish. It also omits Bz from the real-time data which is the single most useful piece of info when forecasting short-term Aurora potential.

Poor experience

The app gave a zero percent chance to see the lights last night and an hour later they were here. Tonight the app gave a zero percent chance while I was looking at them.

Aurora app

Pretty worthless. Last night this area was lit up with Northern Lights yet not a Peep from my app. Still showed zero chance. During the day it might say chances are becoming high. Maybe even 6.0. And yet all night long still showing zero chance. It’s much more accurate for me to just watch the local news and weather for alerts.

You cannot zoom in on the map to choose a location. If I could choose a location I could check 100 miles north of me and drive there. But the map is so wide I cannot pinpoint a location I want to check.
