It is full of useful navigation features such as Text-To-Speech voice guidance, Lane Guidance, Signpost Display, Speed Limits, millions of onboard POIs and much more. Maps are stored on the smartphone for offline use. 3.5 GB of internal memory available is recommended prior to beginning the app download. Ideally, your phone should have 16 GB of total internal memory in order to use BringGo as well as other apps and services on your phone. When you purchase the BringGo app, you will be downloading all the map data for the United States and Canada directly to your compatible smartphone. If you wish to reduce the amount of memory required, you may elect to individually download maps for the States/Provinces relevant to you. Unnecessary maps may be removed at a later date or additional maps may be downloaded as required through the map manager on the app. ______________ COMPATIBLE VEHICLES The BringGo app is compatible with 2013 or later Chevrolet Spark, 2013 or later Chevrolet Sonic, and Chevrolet Trax (Canada only) vehicles equipped with the available MyLink radio. When your compatible smartphone is paired to a properly equipped compatible vehicle, the BringGo navigation screen will display on a color screen that is part of the vehicle's MyLink radio. If you purchased a compatible vehicle before this functionality is available, your vehicle will require a no-charge MyLink radio software update at your Chevrolet dealer to support in-vehicle use of the BringGo app. For more details about this exciting vehicle app integration or launch timing, please contact your dealer or call 1-855-4- Support. ______________ PREMIUM NAVIGATION FEATURES • Turn-by-turn voice directions • Find Places: millions of onboard POIs • Stunning 3D landmarks • Lane Guidance to show you the correct lane to be in • Realistic Signpost Display • Map data from NAVTEQ onboard • Text-To-Speech voice guidance (speaks street names) • Auto re-routing • Multiple routing options; faster time, shorter distance, ECO • Search by Address, Point on Map, ZIP and more • POI Search • Save and edit favorites • Recent destinations • Auto zooming (at intersection & on speed) • Route Planning • Route summary for trip information • Speed Limit warning • Current Location information ______________ MAP COVERAGE United States, Canada, Puerto Rico, and Hawaii. ______________ IN-APP PURCHASES 1. It freezes on your car and it never gets the location right! Wrong turns and everything!! Do not waste your 99 cents 😡 (last update was one year ago)
It’s the only app that was compatible with my car, so I thought I’d give it a try. I can’t get past the first screen where you select the countries/states to download. It keeps saying time ran out. I’d pass on the app and just use google maps.
I use this for my 2016 Spark ev. The app works well but it’s annoying that the display on MyLink is not in color...
I’ve used and owned all sorts of GPS units for cars, including built-ins for Honda, Subaru, BMW, and integrated systems CarPlay and Android Auto. This is better than all of them. There is real thoughtfulness in design, from the vast array of preferences you can set, to the way it indicates turn lanes and your next two moves. Then there is the ability to show detailed descriptions on maps of everything around you, which is unusual. Last but not least, there are the 3D renderings (yes!) of upcoming exits that no other system I have seen comes close to. It’s very thoughtfully designed. Is it as “pretty” as some other systems? No. But it’s pretty enough, and provides more detail with more attention to useful user experience than just about every other system out there, at a price that is difficult to beat. Highly recommended.
This is probably the worst app I've ever purchased. It doesn't know most addresses and gets my location wrong all the time.
Very good app for me. Occasionally difficult to add addresses or features, but mostly works well. This might be because the app came factory installed on the “MyLink” screen in my Chevrolet Spark
I Really hate that this is the only map app that will show on the screen of my car to navigate. I received a message thru the app while on the highway “software issue” and the app quit working completely. I had to try to open another map app and watch guidance on my phone all while driving. As a result I was late to my appointment. They don’t upgrade often and often take you a long way around and easier route. I’ll be so glad to get another car that will show Google Maps on the screen!!!
I can’t sign in with Facebook because I allegedly already have an account. I tried to reset my password but it tells me to go to google + instead of their own website. I haven’t even used it yet. I should have read the reviews before I spent 99 cents.
This app is so frustrating to me because I purchased it because of its compatibility with my car, but I can not use it. I’ve deleted the app and reinstalled it numerous times, I’ve checked through all of the settings. And it keeps saying that my current location is Manhattan, I am nowhere near New York. I’m in Idaho. From my personal experience, I would not recommend.
If you want to just know how to get somewhere great. If you want to know the actual traffic then you are screwed.
