This iPad app needs work!!I've been trying to purchase one issue but all I get is a processing request screen for much longer than usual but no magazine!!!
No, a magazine about bass shouldn't be about some sort of rediculus rock star image when one gets into an interview or showcase of a bass player... (I.e., the Slipknot guy on the cover). I have nothing against the Slipknot guy as a player or musician BUT the way they depict him on the cover makes me have NO respect for the products that are featured in this magazine. I KNOW advertising is a necessary evil that sells products but re the record and the ratings, I HATE the bias-based-on-advertising thing. This is what is ruining this country's conscience.
Hand down the best Bass magazine for all styles of playing, unlike the US Bass mag that is 80% advertising the UK bass Guitar magazine gives you current and insightful interviews and great great gear reviews that are honest and not biased towards the advertisers on the page after the review as in the other. I have been a subscriber for the emag for 2 years and the print prior for at least 3 years, keep up the great work.
This magazine change stream midway making my subscription go hay-wired did not like the service but the magazine is good.
The bass magazine is my favorite of all the bass magazines, has more about differant bass players. Plenty of lessons and how to's in each edition. Very helpful.
I have a subscription to Bassplayer here in the US and this UK magazine gives a little different perspective from across the pond. I've been introduced to players and bands I possibly would not have heard of here as well as viewpoints, opinions etc. The lessons are great as are the articles and gear reviews.
