Smart Blood Pressure (or SmartBP ®) is a smarter way to manage your blood pressure measurements and track your progress. SmartBP is a blood pressure management app that allows you to record, track, analyze and share your Blood Pressure information using your iPhone/iPod touch/iPad devices and Apple Watch (check compatibility requirements). In addition, SmartBP connects with Apple HealthKit. With your health information at your fingertips, you can now take a more active role in your own health. Whether prehypertensive or hypertensive, SmartBP can help you track your progress and manage all your blood pressure measurements with an overall goal of improving your blood pressure. Disclaimer: 1) SmartBP allows you to record, track and analyze trends in your blood pressure. You can either manually enter your records or use a blood pressure monitor to sync with SmartBP through Apple Health. SmartBP alone does not measure blood pressure. You need a separate blood pressure monitor to measure blood pressure. 2) SmartBP is NOT a substitute for a doctor or professional healthcare or advice. Your software does NOT record from the body to the watch to the software. You don’t say this anywhere until you watch an off platform video on Vimeo. False advertising - want my money back. I did not know you need a FDA device to measure that. But u yo I ur already taken my money.
But, I don’t think this app is very accurate with their readings. I will have a BP of 123/71 and it says “elevated BP”. But, I have a BP of 117/80 and they tell me “stage 1”? Having a lower number of 80 is not “stage 1” HBP. 😂
Works great every time. Graphs print out to take to Dr, tags are a good way to track how certain things affect BP. I highly recommend.
Seems like an ok app but doesn’t seem to include MAP (Mean Arterial Pressure). Sure most people may not even know what that is, but it should be displayed by default.
I wrote to the developer have yet to hear back and the app just doesn’t do as shown.
This app is the best BP app value. It has many capabilities that other paid apps don’t even have: creating tags, graphs with custom time categories, compare readings based upon various tags, multiple users, reminders, and more!
There needs to be a place to put in SpO2 readings.
Why can’t I save the data on my iPad? Have a sparkling day! JPMcSR
I like using this app to track my readings. The only thing is that recently, you cannot change the time as you are inputting your readings for the day. Please fix this issue. Otherwise, the app is just what I was looking for.
Switched over to this app from Omron app. Vastly superior. I print reports an bring with me to every Cardiologist and Heart Valve replacement Surgeon appointment. Invaluable insights into my medication dosage and rehab equipment sessions. I take my rehab sessions seriously. My Omron BP Device predates BT pairing, but Data entry is EZ and fast. Love the ability to enter standard tags as well as my own. Free version has ads, paid version is cheap and worth every Penny. Try Free version then you will upgrade for sure. 5 Stars.
