I liked it. Not heavy at all. Good for a couple of glasses on a coolish evening after a rough day, one of which I enjoyed while taking a cool bath.
Unfortunately Delectable continues to ignore win enthusiasts on an iPad. I’m not sure why it’s taking them this long to get iPad support. It’s much easier to type up a review on an iPad with a keyboard and I can always use the iPhone to snap a wine label, then type up a detailed review later. ******* Still nothing on iPad? When will be get a real iPad experience with landscape mode, scan capability, etc?!
I have not been able to add photos from my library for a couple months now. I have reached out via email multiple times and no one has yet to respond to my issue. I have been on Delectable for a long time with nearly two thousand wines logged. I would love to keep using the app but unfortunately I think I might have to switch to another platform to log the wines I have been drinking.
Just downloaded this tonight and wanted to rate the wine I’m drinking. I was surprised it was rated at 8.6/10 until I tried to rate it myself. I think the wine is ok, drinkable but nothing special. I think it is 5 or 6/10. But according to this app a rating of 6.1 is gross (yuck face emoji) and a rating below that is impossible to give. What’s up with that? Why not just rate wines on a 0.1 - 4.0 scale if that is effectively what you are going to offer us? Do the wine sellers not want their wines being rated below 6.1/10? So bizarre.
It lost all the wines I photographed. In addition it can’t find information about the wines I am looking to buy. Not useful at all but a great idea
I never purchase a bottle of wine without 1st checking it on Delectable! Plus finding a 100% Sangiovese is more difficult than it used to be. Even at a restaurant I still use the app because mixing drinks. Nd knowing you wines are many times 2 different things. I can always count on the information I receive from Delectable, love it!
I have become a amateur wine critic Watching reviews from others and tracking my preferences has really improved the diversity and fun of drinking wine
Enjoyed this Pinot Noir with surf and turf for my stepdad’s 80th Bday. Best Californian I’ve had in a long time!
The best wine app there is! Really happy I made the switch.
Love being able to save my wines with this app and get recommendations!
