Locks up often! Very slow to load!!! Messes up password often too! Doesn’t play well with iPhone!
How can I create a blog post on my phone I need help
I don’t like the fact about each time I press something it has to come up with a payment thingy.
Worst app ever. I first downloaded the app a few years ago and never could post to my blog from it. So, each year I download it again to see if it will work... and NOPE... never has.
I recently converted my website and domain to a Weebly by Square site after being a loyal Square customers for 5 years. Over the weekend, I promoted several items on my site via my social media. I was shocked to discovered that when customers used ApplePay and GooglePay the site did not calculate my settings defined tax or shipping. I’m so frustrated. 3rd party payments clearly were not tested properly by developers causing me a lose of income.
I’m a HS student trying to create a most basic of basic websites for some project. This app is completely useless and could not even perform basic essential functions in building a basic website. Where do I begin... 1. When trying to insert an image anywhere (on iPad), the app literally cannot process the image and it does not insert (it just perpetually loads and never actually inserts the image). After restarting the app in a futile attempt to re-try, the app could not even load at all! It just decided to stop loading and I literally was forced to delete & reinstall the app just to get back in (of course...when I get back in, the images were not inserted). I tried again on my laptop (using the website, not app), and Weebly again refused to insert the image (stating that it was an unsupported file type, DESPITE THE IMAGE BEING A .jpg file, which Weebly claims is a supported file type...?). I still cannot insert an image...a basic function a website builder should be able to do... 2. Changing themes doesn’t work? I set my website to a certain theme and later decided this theme didn’t really work, and went in to change the theme (on iPad app). MULTIPLE TIMES after hitting “change theme”, and Weebly refreshing my website after clearly loading the new theme, my old theme remained the same. I still cannot change it. 3. Pay/premium features are JAMMED DOWN YOUR THROAT EVERY 3 MILLISECONDS while you try to use it. I understand that such features exist for higher-level business platforms and such, but evidently for some stupid project I’m not going to be buying Weebly premium...yet the app continually and constantly must remind me of its premium features to the point where it’s actually disturbing my ability to just create a basic website that I’m never actually going to visit or look at again after it is created. Multiple times the app AND website have popped up a “buy your own domain” screen while I was doing something else, and then proceeded to bring up payment plans. And the annoying “banner” (which takes up like a fifth of the screen....) at the bottom of the website incessantly reminding you of just how AWESOME your website would be if you could remove the pesky “Weebly” footer from your site. I get that Weebly offers premium features but seriously, I from what I understand you can use it for free as well for stuff like this?? Maybe??? In short, Weebly is barely functional, and it has annoyed me to the point where I just wasted like 20 minutes writing this. The website on laptop is passable at best, and the iPad app literally, does not function at all. I am deeply disappointed, dissatisfied, and frustrated with my experience with Weebly.
I tried something new and created a website with Weebly. I spent HOURS putting work into my first website. I finally got everything ready to go, my Square account verified, I hit the publish button...and nothing. The items came up with a red notice to customers that stated ‘this store is not yet accepting payments.’ I troubleshot for DAYS, I contacted a representative, I was on hold for hours, and I didn’t even mind that part. The really difficult part was that they told me after holding for quite some time that I had received an email saying that my identity could not be verified and that my account had been deactivated with no warning whatsoever. I was obviously upset, so I asked what could be done? “Nothing,” they responded. The decision is apparently final, and though all of my information was correct (this is after they have asked for my social security number, banking account and routing numbers, and other sensitive information to use to verify that I am who I say I am), I was told that I could *NEVER* use their service, as they would not allow me a second chance at verifying my own identity. It’s interesting that they decide to collect all this information up front and then tell you that there’s nothing they can do to assist you. I wouldn’t waste my money here. Certainly learn from my mistakes and what seems like many others who have similar issues in this review section. This is just another case of our capitalistic society not caring about the welfare of small businesses. This company only wants your information so that they can sell it even if you can’t make a profit. I’m honestly disgusted. No hate to the customer service reps on the phone, though they were super nice and understanding. It’s not their fault the company that pays them is just here to run a legal scam.
This app and website builder is extremely lacking and changes on the app do not always track on the full website version and vice versa. Editing features like “undo” when changing templates or other site-wide changes are just non-existent. Oh, and if you want a refund past the 30 day window for services they are no longer providing you, then tough. No dice on a pro-rated refund even if you have 1.75 years left on your plan. This is not the website builder you are looking for. Choose another.
For the last 3 hours customers have been unable to purchase from my website, on a day where I make my most sales! I called customer service for assistance and all they offered was a 10% coupon and advised that they are working on fixing the problem. No one could tell me what the problem was. I spoke to a rep by the name of “Xiomara” ref:_00DE0Y7ru._5004W1e2Uim:ref, who did nothing to help. She didn’t care that because of this company, I would be losing out on money when I trusted them to house my website. Worst idea ever! I asked for the address to corporate and was hung up on. Prior to that the rep told me to wait for a email, which would let me know what’s going, but I never even received a email letting me know the site was going through technical problems in the first place! I still haven’t received any communication about any type of outage at all! I had to find out my site was down when a customer contacted me saying nothing is available on my website, even though everything is fully stocked online. This will be my last few days with Weebly, they’ve been nothing but difficult to work with! No one ever knows anything that’s going on and can ever fix a problem. I’m done!
I recently just paid for a whole new domain and website, hoping to delete my old account that the app was attached to after I made it. Weebly instantly kicked me off the app and I was no longer able to sign in. I talked to a representative who said that I will never be able to use this app. They do not support business who may need to evolve into something else. So incredibly unhelpful, no support on the issue, pretty disappointed.
