I love the scripture and the choices of readers. The actual app is clunky and not user friendly. If you pause it or the phone shuts down - you have to begin again. I wanted to listen to the reading plan but you can’t choose to have audible but only read it. Could he so much better.
Very well organized, resource based, multiple options with versions of the Bible.
I do not like this new app as well as the old app. To commercial. The old app had a bigger variety of Bibles and did not try to squeeze a $$ out of you every time you wanted to try something. Typical of our days. All about money not spreading the gospel. I am going to other sources. No thanks.
I have to delete this app. The version on my iPad is 49 and the most current version is 59. I’ve tried to update to the most current version and it won’t. I do enjoy using this app, but it is useless to me as it is at the moment. The verse of the day doesn’t update daily. Perhaps I’ll try again later.
This app has ads so I can only assume since they haven't updated/provided their privacy terms they're just siphoning all the info that can possibly get off our phones.
when you leave the App for a few minutes and come back later, it closes the page you were in, without persisting it in the history, so if you don't remember the chapter you're lost. so painful !! other than that I everything is fine for me!
Excellent resources for beginners & those who wish to advance knowledge of Holy Scriptures
This is a good app, but it would be nice if you can copy and paste text and it would be nice if I can change the layout coloring like the Blue Letter Bible app lets you. Also, there's something I really hate that Bible apps are guilty of and that is low quality audio Bibles and that needs to change badly. Another thing also is the narrators in audio Bibles need to not read so fast; my brain wasn't developed normally and words don't sink in my head well so it will be nice if they can slow down and no, changing the speed won't help.
I have used Bible Gateway before on occasions and found it to be very informative of God’s Word. So, I subscribed and now enjoy God’s Word in abundance. I strongly recommend this app to anyone desiring to have an immediate access to the Father’s Word! God bless! Styron James.
Perhaps I’m missing something but navigating between the scriptural texts and the commentaries is very challenging. When I have a passage open and turn to look at the associated commentary or dictionary I have to dig in that resource to find the entry. So unlike the web version were everything is cross linked. This also holds true for viewing things in parallel view where when scrolling the text is independent. Pretty frustrating.
