The app is not really a bad app at all. I actually like it, WHEN it works. The frustration thing about this app is that, whenever I try to open a specific book or verse it takes FOREVER to do. Sometimes I have to open and close the app multiple times in order for it to work.
It is written that all good and all perfect “things” come from above…Bible Gateway, therefore, comes from above; as, Bible Gateway is good and is perfect!✨✨✨
Hello, as a person who was once sighted and now who is blind due to glaucoma, being able to read the Bible is something that I miss that I cannot see. I’ve been trying to find a Bible app that is accessible for users who are blind and use screen reading software such as voiceover for Apple devices. Google talkback for android devices. Jaws for windows devices. Your app has some decent basic layout accessibility. But many of the buttons or links do not work for someone like me who is using an Apple device and using Apple‘s main screen reader called voice over. It would be nice if companies that create accessible Bible apps would make gods word accessible for all, especially those who are blind and have various disabilities. That’s one thing that drives people away from God. It’s not being able to access his word, or not being able to be involved in church activities. So again if you could please learn how to make your app and website accessible for individuals who are blind or vision impaired. I suggest you reach out to Apple, or to Google, or to the creators of Jaws For Windows, to find out how to make your app more accessible, in a DA compliant. That would be a big help for all. Thank you.
I would give this a good review except for when you leave the app and come back to it, if you were in the middle of reading a verse, it closes that out automatically and reverts back to the home page. Maybe there’s a setting to fix this? I can’t find it if so. It’s a shame b/c I lose my place where I was reading. I use another app to read the Bible now b/c of this problem.
There is much more to the original paleo context that indicates there are cyphers embedded in the language. Before letters, the letters were an eastern hieroglyphics language. But the word for the language : עברית itself is a cypher. And the letters are connected “organically” to life. Jeff Benner has produced the “Mechanical Translation of התורה” Why aren’t the messianic Torah portions available in your “Reading Plans.” Frank Seekins has contributed a different understanding how the Hebrew language was at the time of the writings. fantastic insights embedded culturally in the Hebrew word pictures I thought this endeavor was about the WORD. The Hebrew language is an organic, intra-dimensional programming language that transmits the identity of the Messiah and more. He is in the first word of the Torah.
Every morning I have to shut my phone off to get it to reset to the next day on the reading plans. Sometimes it does it but not to often. Is there something I’m doing wrong? I’ve looked in settings, don’t see anything.
I love this app. Especially the reading plans. On the computer you can actually track progress. It would be great if the mobile app allowed the same
Are there any other daily Bible Reading plans besides reading the Bible through in a year? I have a twice. I would like a change but I can’t get the app to stop on Reading Plans. If I need to get another plan somewhere else I will. I thought I would ask first. Thanks for this terrific resource.
When you need it, you really need it. This app is now an essential asset for my journey in this life. Since God’s word guides and teaches me, I can have it in my pocket daily. I can look up a reference or find a verse in 30 seconds. If waiting in line, I can access a Psalm or chapter. Indispensable.
