Been using Burner for about 2 years. I have 3 lines. Love this app, however, it would be nice to be able to send calls to voicemail on weekends or set a custom schedule. Right now, the only way to ignore calls is to manually toggle the “do not disturb” switch within the app. This is ok, but man would it be nice to simply send everyone to voice mail on Saturdays and Sundays.
Great app... but there seems to be no way to remove the background image once it’s added. I added an image then decided I preferred the look of just a color instead, but now I see no way to actually remove the image — only the option to change it ☹️ It’d be nice to have the option to remove the image added....
Subscription is not working...
It’s a good burner phone. The one issue I’ve had is that every time I try to buy credits, it never works. I’ve had to email their customer service numerous times with the Apple receipt (I have an iPhone), but in the end they have been very professional and understanding and manually add the credits to my account. It just takes a day or two. They have absolutely great customer service. I am very pleased overall. I love that I have a separate reliable phone number for my small business.
This seems like a really good concept for an app, a second number, despite the other apps doing this as well. I’m having a problem with my phone service at the moment, so currently I cannot receive calls or texts that aren’t sent through iMessage. But because of this problem, I can’t create a Burner account. The message and call seem to be sent through a type of text message that can’t be received via iMessage. There should be an alternative, like send via email or something. I paid thru a monthly subscription in iTunes. The company canceled my membership with no warning and accused me of not paying even though I had the receipts from Apple. Zero resolution. Horrible customer service.
The app won’t show my phone number
The app asking to re-enter the phone number and after entering it I m getting a message saying “We had a problem sending your verification code. Make sure your iPhone international settings are set to a supported country and try again” and I ve been trying and trying....
I’ve already on two occasions purchased in app credits or other information and they have up charged me about 10%-30% more each time if not more than that. I’m using the app because it is convenient for another number. But they flat out lie about what they charge. You can receive videos on here. To get an updated feed you have to go out and back in, and the app doesn’t work like typical messaging in the way it send and receives texts. Other than that it works as I need it to.
The Burner App is unfortunately not fully accessible to those who suffer with blindness and use the built-in screen-reader Voiceover on iOS devices such as IPhone or iPad. Specifically, when attempting to delete the call or text messaging logs, the screen-reading software will announce that the action of deleting call or text logs has been performed. However, the logs of the calls and messages are still there. I simply am not interested in using an app that is not fully accessible to me even though I enjoy the app for the most part. It is unfortunate that this app has not been designed with the idea of inclusiveness in mind. I will be canceling my account.
