I have tried many diet trackers and this one has most that I need as a free app. I am looking what I can do with a Gold membership. It seems allot is good for is to remove the ads. Gold membership is very good. However I have a problem with finding the recipes that I want to make. This would be a change in your next version.
The best god and fitness tracker I have used thus far. Puts Fitbit to shame.
Since I became a vegetarian a year ago I realized I need to start tracking my protein so I got this app mainly to track my protein intake and make sure I’m consuming around 40g a day However the more I used it, I began to like sticking to the 1200 calorie budget which I set I can easily scan most of the food I eat and if not I can just enter it in manually. Tracking food usually only takes a few minutes out of my day which makes it simple. I realized how much extra calories I’ve been consuming because if I didn’t have the app I’d snack but once getting it I’m aware of my calorie budget so I stop myself. I believe I may be able to loose weight with this as long as I stick to it! :) I’ll write another update in. A few months to see if it worked.
I like the app for the most part. The one thing I would add is the ability to type in a recipe and have the app add the calorie count etc.
I use the free version and have considered upgrading to get the ‘advanced stats’, but I realized that much of the ‘basic’ info the app provides you is incorrect. For instance, yesterday I ate 1 pound of 75/25 beef, which according to this app contained 0.38mg of cholesterol, though in reality that number is 340mg. Similarly, when I log my breakfast of 2 carrots, 2 eggs, and 2 cups broccoli, I am told that I have had 0.3mg of sodium, when the real amount is 260mg. These issues only come up when I have to manually enter those foods whose barcodes aren’t recognized, but unfortunately that is most of what I eat. The calorie counts are always more or less accurate, so if that’s what your looking for in an app, this will meet your needs. However, if you want more detailed nutritional information, I would suggest looking elsewhere.
Can’t believe what I was eating! This app is so awesome! You scan the barcode from food you want to buy. It shows all of the nutritional value. The app is easy to use and makes you eat the right foods. Best app ever! My stomach feels better, making the right healthy choices now because of this app! Thank you!!!!!!!
Definitely accurate. Most macros are calculated by users it seems and you can customize your own “food” for an entry. If you eat similar items you can record what nutrients are in each food and quickly enter them later for each day which is very helpful. Overall a very well made app with many useful features, even if it’s just used as a visual representation of each day to make sure you are hitting your nutrient goals. You can even search menu items you order at restaurants which are spot on accurate. Overall this is a great app.
best tracking app out there
This app is a great app the only thing that I think that’s wrong with it is that there is no reset button because I wanted to lose a little bit of pounds so I downloaded this and maybe I’m wrong I only had this app for a couple of hours like two or three so yeah I was doing my daily workout and then it doubled what I was supposed to get and now I have too many calories so I had to delete the app and now I’m looking for another app and I tried to re-download it to see if everything was reset but nothing was and I still had a bunch of amounts of calories so I looked at everything to see if it there Was a reset button but I did not see one I’m not the best with phones maybe there is one maybe there isn’t but I did not see one
I wasn’t seeing the results of my workout and now I know why. I was consuming waaay too many carbs. Had a 1200 daily calorie goal but I was also consuming way over that without realizing it. Thanks to this app I can now keep my macros in check
