Turn on notifications to receive alerts anytime a scanner has more than 3500 listeners (find out about major events as they're breaking). FEATURES • View scanners located nearest you. • View the top 50 scanners that have the most listeners. • View list of scanners added most recently (new scanners are being added all the time). • Add scanners you listen to the most to your Favorites for quick access. • Browse the directory by location or genre (public safety, air traffic, railroad, marine, etc). • Turn on notifications to be notified when major events are happening (details below). NOTIFICATION FEATURES Receive a notification anytime: • ...any scanner in the directory has more than 3500 listeners (configurable). • ...a specific scanner has more than a certain number of listeners. • ...a Broadcastify alert is posted for one of your favorites. The audio you're able to hear is provided by volunteers (and, in many cases, police and fire departments themselves) for Broadcastify.com and a few other sites using real scanner radios. I love this app. However the listener alerts are not working since the last update.
I've been listening to the Yavapai County Public Safety channel for years... For the past month it hasn't been broadcasted properly and the broadcaster will NOT respond to email
I work in the public safety sector as an EMT, but working in the rural area that I do, we have lots of small fire depts we work with that our radios aren’t tuned to. With this app I’m able to listen to almost all of them. Helps us keep track of where everyone is, and what we might be running on. Great app, 4/5 stars because of ads.
I installed scanner 911 and can’t get it. Stupid game comes up and can’t get out of it
Very clear broadcasting and I live that it has my local Dept. Great app!!
As an over the road truck driver, I find this app to be indispensable in routing myself around traffic jams due to accidents or other incidents such as the shootings in Las Vegas that I was less than 15 miles away from when they happened... A few things that would be helpful if it is possible to implement would be: 1- In the broadcastify alerts, if the abbreviation for the state could be included. That way, depending on my route, I could determine whether it will impact me or not. 2- If there were a way to actually add my routing using major freeways, so that those came up as a ‘special alert’ then I could again, determine if a route change was in order. Also, I did not see a way to contact the developer from within the app, unless I missed it..? Overall, this app is my go-to to keep track of all of the areas where my loved ones live, as well as wherever I travel and I don’t know what I would do without it!
why has this been offline for a week now?
I love the app, it works great but it doesn’t work for my county, rio arriba county, it works for almost everywhere around me but it would be fantastic if maybe you could add in this as well as we could use it because some of our radios don’t receive the calls 20/7, but we need Española fire, Velarde fire and also Ohkay Owingeh fire, they are all connected to the Espanola dispatch.
Lacking Florida Highway Patrol feed.
This app all of a sudden keeps stopping and I can’t get it to play for a while, this is really frustrating I hope the you can fixes this problem considering I payed for the Pro version I am not happy right now.
