Helps out the public plan out their day with this app way to go .
I get on near the beginning of a bus route and the times are ALWAYS wrong. Has caused me to miss more buses than I can count. Need to improve data.
I use the bus to get to and from work. I love that this app exists and it’s really necessary for a lot of people to have access to transportation info. Unfortunately, it’s so inaccurate and the only way to tell where the bus actually is, is if other riders who are passengers on the bus you’re needing are actively letting the app use their location. Which does not happen often. I’ve missed may busses and had inaccurate information showing on my app due to this almost every single time. It’s made me late for work and had to stand in below 0 weather for hours at a time on multiple occasions. Why can’t drivers have a gps system that shows on the app?
Times to leave, or when the bus arrives, is completely inaccurate. You’d be too early or too late for the bus. On another note, the maps on this accursed app is inaccurate, so good luck trying to find the next bus stop on this thing.
Standing at a station or sitting in a train car, input your destination, it will frequently tell you weird things like to get off the train catch a bus, go around the block and get on the next train. I understand that it doesn’t think you’re going to make the current train, but why tell you to get on a bus? Why not tell you to stand and wait for the next train? Hopefully riders use common sense and don’t do the weird things it suggests. Also, sure wish it integrated our on-demand bus service like it tries to do with Lyft. Instead it tells you to wait and take another bus line way out of the way and then get off and walk over the Interstate. If you’re not familiar with the area, you could actually do that when the best route is clearly to hail an on-demand bus to take you to your door. [update: still tells you to do weird things. It currently tells me to take the train to the station, get off the train and wait 8 min for a Lyft (it loves Lyft). Take Lyft 0 ft to the station. 🤷♂️]
Great app to use when it is working. But I’ve noticed, especially during the pandemic, there have been a lot of “ghost buses”. They would show on the map and pass by me but they don’t actually exist. Then disappear. Making me late and sitting out in the cold longer
The current update has removed the buses/trains moving in NYC. Looks terrible.
Now I don’t see where the bus is on the map
Honestly you’ll be better off using the septa website because this app made me miss multiple busses because if it’s frequent time changing to the schedules. I wouldn’t use this again!
