The times in Los Angeles for metro are very unreliable. App tells you a bus is showing up but it never does. It works 3 out of 5 times. I have had to call an Uber multiple times because the wait times were wrong
Okay recently started working at Cafe Rio on Decatur ave & Blue Diamond rd. & live on Tropicana ave & Valleyview. Lastnight was my first day working at night & we closed at 10pm & I wasn’t done until 11pm. The bus stop is right outside the restaurant on Decatur as the last bus going back North down Decatur to Tropicana went by as the driver saw me running to the bus stop & did not stop. Cause nobody was at the bus stop but I signaled to the driver to stop as they saw me running. This caused me to be stranded out there with no way home so I started walking & didn’t get home untill 4am. By the time I got home my feet were killing me as I was on my feet at work all day. This is NOT right. Drivers should atleast stop for a few seconds to make sure people aren’t getting on or atleast stop when seeing people running & signaling to the bus driver. I can’t believe there is no buses running past 11pm. There are people who work & don’t even get off till 12am midnight who don’t live in that pricey expensive neighborhood.
Thanks for charging us after not charging us for years.
I used to love the transit app and i get they need to make some type of money. It’s typically accurate and its great that there a little bit of a competitive aspect which encourages those that need it to track their trip for more accurate information. HOWEVER, I literally cannot see bus routes that are around the corner from my home.
Shows that a bus is coming and then one never comes
I would like this to explain to me what is going on. Why my train is stopped.
It will say “10 minutes” then ten minutes later it says “1 hour to min”
I recommend this app because when waiting for the bus you never know when it will arrive, now with this app you can know when it will arrive at your bus stop
Speaking as an LA Metro transit user, this app can be very unreliable. In the early days it was the best reference for schedules but after LA metro completely embraced it, it became unreliable. Biggest issue is they show arrival times for bus lines that don’t even show up or aren’t supposed to be scheudled. Maybe LA metro isn’t communicating with the folks at the Transit app but this is a huge inconvenience.
This update is stupid why do we have to pay to see buses that’s near us but not really that close….you think we have money to pay for thai f we have to use public transportation??..make it make sense
