App takes like 10 seconds to open on the 11 pro. Also, tired of seeing MLB support a terrorist organization.
Paid the monthly subscription for it because i don’t have cable at home and can’t go to the ball park thanks to Covid-19. However the games are blocked. They won’t offer a refund. Waste of money. Don’t do it.
The List mode takes you back to 2018 then forward to 2021.
The standings are scrunched and almost unreadable on my iPad 7th generation while in portrait mode. Also, playing videos will regularly crash the app (I’m a Mlb.tv subscriber) at the very beginning of the video. My guess is it has something to do with the lack of ads for subscribers. [Developer: yes, I’m running latest software; ditto with delete and reinstall. This has been an issue for some time. One additional bug note, when watching games in portrait mode, the top and bottom overlays with scores and game situation do not fit properly. They used to last year, it not anymore.]
If you want updates to your game, it’s great. If you want to pay to see your games live, there are potential hang ups. Games can still be “blocked” in your area, so you still might not be able to see the game you want
They want $25 to watch live games in my own region that are already free on regular tv. I guess they only want people who are home, or are willing to pay to watch commercials to watch baseball their games. Their viewership must be really strong.
This is not worth paying for due to blackout rules. What is the use in having this app if you can’t watch the team you like due to blackout rules.
Crashes 90% of the time when clicking push notification. But sometimes it works well for many days in a row. Game highlight videos are getting better - they don’t always make close games look like blowouts. Wish I could search for specific players without needing to know what team they are on.
I would definitely give a 5 star if I can watch my games with casting to my Tv using Chrome cast. Casting using browser has no issue only the app is a piece of crap. It buffers so much I can’t even enjoy watching my favorite team and occasionally I get disconnected. I am using iPhone 11 iOS version 13.6.1 and mlb app version 13.7. I’ve tried uninstall and resintall no avail Tried multiple power cycle on both router and chromecast no avail. Using other streaming app like Disney and Netflix. No issues Do not understand why you ask to run the latest version when that’s already done the first time. Unless you see a version I’m reporting is not correct
How can I get a refund? My app doesn’t work in my area. For some reason it stated it’s a BLACKOUT AREA. Not happy with my download and subscription
