Constantly, endlessly, hopelessly broken and apparently can never be fixed. But I have no other way to watch my team, so awesome job MLB. You got me. I guess when I don’t have any other choices and you won’t fix your garbage, you win.
So, being a huge baseball fan and wanting to catch the last couple series impacting playoff seedings, I jumped on the “Start Free Trial” option for the monthly premium subscription. After verifying payment through the App Store, I was charged the $24.99+tax. What’s “Free” about it? Of course like everyone else, I was planning to cancel the subscription after the free trial period was up so as to not incur the subscription price, but At Bat went ahead and charged me right away. Don’t get me wrong, it’s a great app, but it’s deceiving to advertise “free trial” and end up charging consumers for it.
This comes up about 75% of the time. I’ve deleted and reinstalled the app, rebooted devices over and over, etc. One time I tried calling support; waited 50 minutes on hold and gave up.
Lately been having constant connectivity issues on the audio and on the video on my Apple TV. The audio will start and cut-off, requiring a restart of the device.
This app has a monthly fee so why ads? It’s ridiculous that we have to sit thru an ad for tires or cars before viewing high lites. Make the app free or ditch the ads.
why would I subscribe fellas, can’t even watch a simple free highlight
the game of the week pop up appears on every page. how stupid. this app is now unusable.
App is currently crashing like crazy.
Mostly the app is great for stats and standings but frequently cuts out when streaming Yankee games. Also, I live in mobile Alabama but when the Yankees play the Rays it’s blacked out. Seriously? Tampa is 7 hours away! I’m supposed to drive there for every game because it’s considered local? Since when is a 7 hour drive “local”? App crashes about half the time as well.
The app hangs up when looking up individual stats of a current player.
