Weather app with so much potential

This app is great when you figure out its quirks. I’ve had this app for many many years and it has always been very buggy. It’s always hard to get the radar to actually show the current radar and many times the radar is just blank, but if you zoom in or out it magically appears Many connectivity problems and bugs too, but that’s been a staple with this app for years But again, once you get past the bugs, it’s easily the best weather app

Very good app indeed!

Only He knows

I’m finding with all weather apps that they are having a hard time guessing what the weather is going to do. Even meteorologists are getting it all wrong. Two days ago it said we would get 2.75 inches of rain..we got.25. The only thing accurate is the amounts after the storms. I do think it’s the most accurate of all the weather apps I use.

If they can’t get the so-called “little things” right....

I liked and used Weather Underground until I noticed that the word respiratory is spelled — EVERY DAY — “respitory.” The word sensitive is often spelt “senstive.” When I alerted the press relations people, the response was surprisingly blasé—On the order of Oh, yes, thanks for pointing out the pesky typo. This is a supposedly professional scientific service and basic spelling isn’t correct ?... I figured it would take a day or two at the most. Going on a month now. Disgusted, I deleted the app.

Great radar

I love the app but many times it will just not load and or it somewhat freezes the radar images. When it’s working it is always my go to radar app.

Needs some serious work

This app has potential but it’s horribly slow and the radar feature is just junk. Kind of sad when you consider it’s operated by “The Weather Channel” I would have expected better.

Only Happy When It Rains

I don’t like other weather apps. I don’t want to have to use other weather apps. I don’t want to write this review. Unfortunately the functionality of this app has gone down the toilet more and more for too long now. Nothing loads, can’t connect, no idea of my location, the webcams are all but dead, the last light is still somehow listed before the sunset and sunrise happens before first light, so on and so forth. Is anybody home? Is this app abandoned? The depression is so deep now that I just lay on the lawn for days on end and pretend I’m a broken thermometer. Why doesn’t WU love me anymore?! Balenciaga!!!!

Weather plot made less useful by bogus data

A few days ago about 3 hours of 0.0 temperature data got included in the plotted curves making the data almost a straight line and less useful. This data seems to have somehow kept dragging the plots further into the past so that the plot range has continued to reflect that bogus data. In trying to ask the developers what they are doing about this, it also became clear that “support” is not supportive: the web site is just a link back to the App Store and the “support” link permission only a VERY, VERY short question.
