WeatherUnderground used to be my absolute favorite weather app, but in recent years they have removed features that were quite enjoyable. Additionally, when the Storm app was discontinued for the Weather Channel version they really gave up a great resource for entry level weather nerds... Hopefully someone will inject some care into this product and return it to its glory days.
Lately I get a message saying there was a problem connecting almost every time I use it. It usually does connect on a retry.
Doesn’t matter where you are you can find a local station that is close by. I love it when going to sporting events or out to the beach in Bay Area, SoCal back east where ever. Nice to see actual read outs from exactly where you are. Especially AT&T now Oracle there can be big swings in temps so it’s nice when you can use a station right next to park.
We have been using the site for over a year and it’s been great up to 3 months ago. The program always opened up with current weather reading. Starting around 3 months ago the majority of the time you can’t get the site to open. This doesn’t matter if on a computer, cell phone, or tablet.
The app crashes whenever I try to remove ads.
Right on to the min where I am. I love it!
Recently made the switch to the Wunderground and am happy I did. The daily and hourly forecasts with overlaying temperature and precipitation graphs make it easy to get a quick and detailed weather forecast. The top view map with a tooltip relating today’s weather to yesterday is such a great feature, and the design just begs you to click. Air quality and pollen count are great for living in the Salt Lake Valley, and the sunrise and moonrise info has already come in handy. Thank You!
This app used to be my go to for weather, but something changed in the last year or so. It’s buggy, crashes, and the ads have gotten more annoying.
Have a wonderful WiFi signal and yet this app is regularly saying it was unable to connect. When it works I prefer it over all other weather apps.
Don’t spend any $ on this. They will not answer professional email questions to connect with a new AcuRite station. They have not updated my location and equipment in 2+ years and in the last month will no assist me in fixing it. A shame.
