Never had this happen for years, now suddenly locked of computer remotely;$600 a year for this?
Weeks well with very few issues over many years. On the rare occasions when issues have come up the customer service responds quickly and resolves the issue. I have placed this software in multiple businesses I am associa5ed with.
Let me give you some context..I’m a self employed computer tech who has been using Logmein since 2007 and there service and product I’ve been great..but a found out today that Logmein got rid of the Central Basic 250 seat plan that I’ve been on for over 8yrs now and will make me go to the so call New Base plan which will change my yearly subscription from $1199.99 to $3479.99, that is almost triple the cost...needless to say this can not be right or good for business...I did speak to one of there sales rep and they will give me a discount but still the cost will be twice as much...I was told about 5yrs ago that the $1199.99 price is what Central would be lock in on price...VERY DISAPPOINTING and is having me look for other options... Sincerely, A upset customer..
The connection times out to soon, if I switch to an other app it only lasts 20 seconds.
It used to work with my iPhone and iPad and now it doesn’t. On top of that, they charged my credit card $389 for renewal and I can’t use it. Technical support is useless.
Amazing user interface makes controlling my PC with 2 monitors a cinch on my iPhone SE.
UPDATE: we switched to Zoho assist since we were not willing to be taken advantage of and go from $300 to $1000 to $1200 to $3,500! Good riddance LMI, we will not miss you. Invoking such outrage and emotional dissatisfaction is only bound to hurt a company. As they says; negative feedback spreads like wild fire, certainly when you take advantage of a others in such way. I do not think I have been taken advantage of this way by any other company. This company is the reason that people must not trust advertising. Lure you in with a free offer and then quadruple the cost of the product and since you have so many devices, it is impossible to move away from it. Btw, no partial refund, who does that? Yearly subscription and they will not refund you when you cancel two months in!
Half the time the App does NOT work.. I dislike it very much
They added animations which are annoying When launching the app or switching to it. Would prefer it would just launch. Would also like a network status or connect health status. That would let you know if your connection issues are what’s causing slow downs. There are now promotion banners sliding from the bottom. I would rather opt for emails than more notifications on my phone. Give us the ability to copy paste files and transfer small files. Insane you pay thousands of dollars a year and they refuse a basic feature to upsell you.
Can’t copy/paste text from remote system to local device, so if I need to copy and paste something in a document or email on my iPhone, it can’t be done, so I have to swap apps back and forth if it’s IPs or something else. Stupid as 💩 that you didn’t test to make sure this would work! Guess no IT people work with LogMeIn anymore and the concept of needing to have a constant clipboard ever occurred to you?! This is why nobody wants to pay/use for your services anymore. One step forward and two steps back... New update causes app to start a lot slower now before it gets to login screen for account to use. This is on an iPhone XR, so since it wasn’t this slow before, there’s NO REASON for this to be happening now on latest hardware. Back to 1 star you go!
