All is good in the land of Entertainment Weekly because of the developer making several attempts to resolve my problems. The last attempt work, and I can now read the digital downloads. The following is my original review: “Like others,I cannot download issues. Frustrating and a waste of time trying to access the digital issues.”
I am having the same problem as so many other subscribers— being told I either have to pay for the latest magazine or opt for a free trial. This is beyond frustrating and we should be getting a refund.
I get my magazine in the mail and my online edition says I need to pay $6 to view it. I want my e mag fixed
Every time this app is updated, I lose access to back issues. Very frustrating and customer support (when you can get ahold of someone) just repeats the same basic information from the app.
I have been a long time subscriber and never had a major issue accessing the app. Sadly that is no longer the case. Like many reviews before mine, I can no longer log in the app using my email address or account number. The app even says my account does not exists yet I can log into the website. Very frustrated.
Too difficult from the home screen. I get notified of new issue, but can’t see it.
3 new issues and I can’t read them. Good thing I get a copy mailed. It keeps telling me that I can preview the issue or buy it! I have a print and digital subscription. I have logged out and back in, deleted the app and downloaded it, synced stuff and still this issue. Please fix this! I thought it would be after the previous update but nope. Ugh. EW I am slowly losing faith in you.
Every time there’s an update with this app it deletes your previous purchase history and then it asks you to log back in and it doesn’t recognize your email address you can’t even login with your account number, it doesn’t recognize it or anything else I had to sign in as a new user and now I cannot get into any of my old purchases I’ve called customer service and no response for anybody can help me I want my money back
It only took 3 weeks and numerous calls to uninformed telephone supporters techs, before I could finally login and get access to my magazines on the app. I am very tech friendly and this was not easy. But, here's an even bigger issue. It turns out Entertainment "Weekly" is really Entertainment Bi-Weekly. Apparently there is no more pretense of a weekly publication. When does the name officially change.
Like everyone else, I can’t get the newest issues even though I’m a subscriber. Asked to pay for it. Logged out and back in but no change. There has always been a delay from when it first shows up but this is ridiculous. Been waiting two weeks for latest issue.
