I downloaded the all but never used it, so I erased the app 2 weeks ago, before the the app started to charge and even did it on my subscription from Apple, and today I have a charge for $14.99 from you, I need that to be refunded!!
I am 75 and love DB 365! I love the variety. I love the challenge of keeping up with you youngsters!
I don't even want to give 1 star. I dowloaded the app. Followed the sign up process, in the end it asked me to confirm payment details for subscription. Everything was done but then it is stuck on "unknown error occurred" dialog. Every time it takes me back to "Yes, lets do it" then then again through payment flow and in the end "unkown error occurred".
There’s a glitch which causes the audio to desync with the some of the workouts about 10-15 minutes in making it impossible to follow and cause the work out to not be counted which is extremely annoying when using a program because it doesn’t track your progress. Use the web browser instead.
It’s really good I got to admit but you know what’s weird when you log in it’s said a 18-25 like that’s the lowest one and I’m 13 years old so what am I supposed to do???
I’ve been using this app for a couple of years. Never had this problem before, but recently within the last two months I’ve noticed that when you play it work out the audio will skip or repeat itself so that everything is completely out of sync. I’ve done software updates and app updates accordingly but this issue still keeps happening. Hopefully they will fix it soon.
I love the programs, videos, so much variety! Trainers are great! The app is not very good though... Although it got better after the last update (much better search interface) the home page is SO SLOW!!! it makes me mad every time. It should not be that slow to load just a couple of items! Please improve that!
This app is a really neat idea, but it was executed so poorly. Most workout have no substitutes for a move, so if you have mobility issues or your disabled it’s very hard. The workouts are so poorly explained that you’re likely to injure yourself since they just encourage you to “watch them” and then figure it out. I tried different programs, different workouts, and everything I could think of and it’s just garbage to use.
I’ll start out by saying I started using this app when gyms were closed at the beginning of quarantine and it has helped me lose weight. Since they just were able to start recording new workouts, I’m mostly reacting to the pre-programmed content. That being said, there are issues with the app and the training programs themselves. First, while they have modifications for exercises that may be difficult for people, they also rarely go over them and sometimes the modifications are useless. By the time you see a person doing the modification sometimes, they’re moving on to the next exercise. I’ve been writing for months (again they just started recording new content, so this may change) that I would like to see a modification for a lunge for people with knee issues. They’ve never given one while having lunges in almost 90% of the workouts. It’s like their trainers are incapable of imagining that someone might need to not do a lunge or may need more help. They just take it for granted. The same is true for other common moves like push ups. If you’re like me and have some knee pain and/or carpal tunnel, be prepared to work through the pain or be told to go back to True Beginner (which I completed months ago) because they won’t give any modifications for these things. The app is also buggy. It doesn’t count workouts you completed, doesn’t sync with the Apple TV properly, and doesn’t keep track of your program progress very well. Calorie counts are way off. In the most recent workout, they said I should have burned 226 calories, but I barely broke 160. Again, I know it’s an estimate, but still. Overall, I would encourage people to use it but to do programs with the trainers they like and be wary of the 365 workouts. Anja Garcia and Greg Cook’s workouts have been the best for me, but it looks like both of them are going to Apple Fitness. The 365 workouts’ quality varies so much that the programs are by far your best bet, probably because they aren’t switching trainers every day.
I’ve tried 3 times to sign up to this app, and I keep getting request timed out.
