Just so much unnecessary repetition and clicking
On the longer trips with GPS mileage tracker,the app logs off and loses all data
A few years ago, I decided to improve my record keeping. Expensify was the mode I chose. After buying the app, I never really got started, and that’s not the fault of Expensify. So, the monthly credit card charge just kept rolling while the app sat unused in my phone. Today, I decided to cancel. I couldn’t find a cancel option on the app. I wrote concierge and got an immediate response asking how to help and keep me in the fold. I again asked for instructions on canceling. Concierge went cold. After multiple messages from me and 7+ hours time, I got the SAME “no answer” response. Then, finally, instructions that DID NOT work! I then called the phone number given for Expensify on my credit card statement. Guess what? The answering machine mail box is FULL! So, I’d advise those looking for an app of this type to look elsewhere. I’d hate to have a pressing need with this app- you can’t get a response without much effort, and then all you get Is the runaround.
We purchased This app a while back and when our company had to close during the pandemic, we had no income and asked to cancel our membership to save every penny we could and DURING THE PANDEMIC, THEY REFUSED TO REFUND THE MONEY FOR THE UNUSED MONTHS AND STILL CHARGED US AN EARLY PENALTY ON TOP OF THAT. We will never use this app again and we are really disappointed that any company would bleed a small business during a worldwide crisis. Please support small businesses around America by NOT PURCHASING THIS APP.
I don’t like this app or company they just want to steal money form your account and you can’t even delete your information! This is all a SCAM TO GET INTO YOUR BANK ACCOUNT!!!!!!!!
I’ve had Expensify since 2014 or so as a free app; bucking the trend they have no ads and for my tiny biz, is perfect. Began feeling guilty to pay nothing with them storing my receipt photos free, paid a couple months at $9.00 / mo, decided that is a bit high- can mean the difference between bouncing a Ck and not to have recurring debits like that: but, when I went back to free, after dropping out for half a year my info was intact, good customer service told me how to go “free” again; only paid something like 27.00 to come back onboard; even after I’d reneged; wish I could buy a scaled down version outright, but loving it so far. Signed up to check things out since I need to manage my spending. Seen a promotion to be reimbursed so I decided to go ahead and try Expensify our considering the reviews as well. Fast forward over a month later nothing so I decided tostick with my current one because of a run around I receive and some rude messages from customer service team
This app has a good mission. I was recommended to upload my EBT purchases to it. To my surprise a amount was deposited directly into my checking account three weeks later. It’s not much but it helped with a week of emergency groceries and can keep me afloat (and out of grocery stores) so I can stay healthy and not spread COVID19 or put my community at risk. The app is easy to use and customer service is great. Thank you for all you do Expensify!
Expensify’s app has the most intuitive experience out of the expense reporting apps I’ve tried. I just needed something simple that works for a good price, and this was it.
The app keeps telling me my free trial period ended but I’ve been paying for the unlimited plan for 2yr + and now it won’t process my receipts and the “convo” bubble doesn’t work & no other contact info is provided. What’s going on?!
