Now paying (eternally) for the app. But you can’t seem to quit a trip anymore. Lingering directions stay in the iPhone 14 dynamic island, even after rebooting the phone. Only solution seems to be to uninstall the app. Yikes.
This app used to be the best, with its clean look and simple and easy ux. Now it’s just bloated and laggy.
In the beginning all was great now notice end of routes are wrong and timing of buses off.
Efficient and on time schedules! Very Helpful for first time visitor from Philippines now NYC resident!
One of the best transportation apps out there. I’ve used this in New York, London, Amsterdam, Paris, and my hometown, Salt Lake City. Yes, Google Maps and Apple Maps can do the same thing but the interface on Citymapper is so much better. It gives you an in-depth overview of your transportation route.
I have been using Citymapper as Club subscriber now for two months to commute from NJ to Manhattan and back. Unfortunately, it doesn’t do a great job and each time to manually adjust the change times to make my connection work. I have missed several times a connection from subway to NJ Transit in Penn Station and Secaucus because I didn’t pay attention in the first place. It assumes that a connection time of one minute in Secaucus from upper level to lower level is ok which is impossible to do even if the train from New York is on time (NJ commuters know what I am talking about). Also, it often fails to find the fastest way even for a subway trip within Manhattan. I will now be trying Transit as a hopefully better alternative.
Citymapper is the BEST‼️
