Very useful and important app 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
I’ve used the app for years and still have trouble using it. Usually the documents do their thing on their own but some get lost in my files. Now I’m looking for a way to be sure I have the most recent version but I’m not able to download a form from the Texas Department of Human Services. Overall the app is useful, and I’m glad I’m able to use it for free.
Latest update crashes the app immediately. FIX!
The app requires a user sign in to even view PDFs, which is super unnecessary since I don’t want to actually edit or annotate anything. But I’m an acrobat subscriber so I try to sign in anyway. I put in the correct username and password, but then it says it sent a verification code to my email address even though I don’t have any kind of 2-factor sign-in setting turned on for my Adobe account so I’m not sure why I’d even need a verification code after I literally just put in my username and password (my iPad even scanned my face for the password). That’s secure. Why do I need a verification code to get into my account when I’ve never needed to do that before??? Even when I go to the Adobe acrobat website on my computer, I can just use my username and password without having to find a verification code somewhere in my email inbox. The reason the verification code is such a pain is because ADOBE NEVER SENT ME ANY VERIFICATION CODE TO MY EMAIL. When I check my email for the verification there are no new emails from Adobe. I check my filters and spam folder and still no verification code from Adobe. When I click “resend verification code” in the app, I STILL NEVER RECEIVED ANY EMAIL FROM ADOBE WITH ANY VERIFICATION CODE. After attempting this two times, Adobe locks you out so you can’t even try signing into the app. So basically even though I am a paying Adobe Acrobat subscriber, I can’t even use this app because it requires extra unnecessary steps (which I never even authorized) in order to sign in, and those steps are also impossible to complete since Adobe doesn’t send the code that it says it sent. What a waste of an app and my time. Super disappointed in this. I’m just going to delete this pointless app and probably cancel my Acrobat account too since it costs way too much money every month for me not to even be able to use it on all my devices. Totally unacceptable smh.
I am using the free version of the app. It is excellent and I highly recommend it.
Can’t open the app Crash after loading screen
Why can’t it be easier? Just have a blank PDF option, why is that so hard? This is why I’m certain Word is so much more popular because in Word you can start from scratch which makes it seem so limitless. I just don’t get why you have to start with an already formed document to “get” a document?
