Have been using Acrobat on iPad for a year or so and was happy to see editing features become available, even if they came with a $4.99/month Premium fee. After purchasing the upgrade through the Apple’s App Store, the program froze during the “registering the upgrade”. I rebooted the iPad because the program was froze. After reboot, and launching Acrobat again, the premium features were still not available, and when prompted to subscribe to them (again), was left with a message that i was already subscribed. So.....subscribed and charged for a service that is not functioning, and no customer support to remedy. No phone support and bounced between 3 different parties on “chat support” with no resolution. Was told by the third representative to try a forum for a solution.
It’s nice to be able to read a PDF, but I have active licenses to Acrobat Pro for both Windows and Mac. Can I use that to edit with this app? Nope. They want me to also buy a monthly subscription for iPad as well.
Did I get charged for this app? If I did and it’s monthly how do I get rid of it? I didn’t mean to download this app at all.
2 things I wish could be changed plzz: 1-adding a switch bar between multiple opened PDFs files like the desktop version reduce my suffering by A LOT. 2-pen, highlights...etc, I wish they are already present as I open the document instead of tapping the blue icon in the right lower corner. Because every time I exit a document to open another document -which I do a lot - I have to re-tap and choose the “comment” option.
Still no two-page-display capability in landscape layout (unlike what is implemented by Acrobat Reader on another mobile OS). Uninstalled from my iPad Pro 12.9.
Unreliable... erases all progress.
After installing new, it works normally in a few second, them becoming extremely slow respond, even with a simple scrolling on pdf file. Open any menu will cause a forever hang too. Uninstalling and reinstall doesn’t fix it.
