I’ve been using this app for a few years now and despite a few minor bugs here and there, like it very much. However, since the latest update, I can no longer enter expenses or mileage. As soon as I tap one of the fields to enter data, the app crashes. I uninstalled and reinstalled the app with no luck, it continues to crash. At this point, it is unusable so hopefully there will be an update to address this. My iPhone 8 is running on a compatible iOS version (can’t recall, but it’s recent). Also, just my $0.02, but the latest UI is complicated. The time-consuming install/startup intro is unnecessary. Consider adding a static “next” prompt for those who don’t want to wait for the slow cascading text blocks to reveal a delayed “next” prompt.
Updated the app and now cant do expenses on the mobile app. Notified support and they already know about it. I requested they roll back to the working version and they arent doing it.
It works well so far. But I would love to be able to clock in and out on it like a “normal job” to keep track of how many hours I put into it
So far this has been working amazing. Still figuring out a few things here and there. Otherwise is a great app!
First of all, worked perfectly for me in the 6 months I used it. I just had to enter the receipt or drive and forget about it because it was all logged. Even if I forgot for a while to log, I’d see the route I took and could easily look up which client I drove to. Best thing for me was customer service. If I had a question, someone popped up on the site in a minute to answer it. I was worried I’d be in trouble since I signed up through their website rather than iTunes and was dreading the hoops I’d have to go through to cancel like with cable, “are you sure you want to leave? If you’re satisfied, what’s the problem? You may need it later and regret this. You won’t have the same discount.” Blah blah. They cancelled right away, no questions asked and zero hassle. I just sent one message. I’ll sign up again if I’m self-employed in a heartbeat for a good company that doesn’t bank on bullying/harassing customers into staying on.

I just heard about this app through Lynn Richardson. It’s a wonderful app, in fact I am about to order the voice device for my car.
I like the ease of using this app to track miles & expenses. The only issue I’ve struggled with is connection with one of my credit card accounts but it appears to be that cards issue. Anything to make living a #berrygoodlife easier I’m all for it❣️
Mileage counter not working
. Too many times, I’ll merge trips an it disappears. Not in classified or unclassified. To get accurate mileage, I have to re-enter the 6 - 9 addresses which I wanted to avoid. I was also under the impression that the new release would “recognize” repetitive trips. Guess I was mistaken. I so want to love it. My accountant recommended I use MileIQ but I told him Taxbot makes you put in business reason. He said “for sure, use Taxbot”. I’m now looking at going back to a book because of the disappearing trips.
