Don’t trust Taxbot to have all the pictures of your receipts at the end of the year. I ran a end of year report and not all the receipts I took pictures of were there. If it’s not flawless it is worthless.
I would give this app 5 stars but unfortunately I can’t even login into my account even after paying twice for the subscription
Great Platform for Real Estate Agent!
The amount of problems I’ve had with this app are unbearable. Constantly having problems with it actually tracking mileage correctly, crashing when trying to categorize trips or expenses, duplicates showing up all the time, having to refresh twice every time to hopefully get the trip to show up, occasionally having to close out the app then reopen it just to get it to be responsive and more! I’ve been paying for it for a year to long. For the people it’s been working for, I’m glad it’s been working for you. I don’t know if I’ve had any positive experiences with this app.
I was hoping the glitches would get better after last year, but they’ve gotten worse. I can’t enter expenses at all without getting an error message. I know it’s not anything I’m doing because everything is entered correctly on the screen, but still getting the error then app completely crashes and closes down. I’ve also had problems last year adding expenses and income from my phone, then going to find them using my computer and they were gone. This is very concerning since this is for a business and taxes and everything needs to be done correctly. Will be finding something else to track after this.
I’ve had so many complications with the app not registering different expenses and changing classifications. Then I called tech support who claimed that I must have been the problem and that there was nothing wrong with the app instead of helping me. Great customer service. Will not be using this next year
Tracks mileage most days, sometimes it doesn’t work. Often takes a long time to load miles then refuses to let you categorize them constantly putting them back in the list. Often not saving them after you hit save and done. Signed up for “one time payment” plan based on my accountants recommendation and truly haven’t been impressed. Was supposed to get something free to place in the car that that was never sent, really don’t even remember what it did. End result is it’s okay but nothing exciting.
first off, who ever rates apps? not me, so this is a big deal. BY FAR the best app I’ve ever used to track my mileage and expenses. quick, easy to use, and amazing customer support always there to help. 12/10 recommend
I’ve been a customer for years. App this year has not been reliable nor dependable. Basically have to resort to manual entry. Randomly disconnects from bank account. Doesn’t get receipts from email. Doesn’t consistently track mileage. Support will claim that customer has been notified of settings changes required for app. If a customer contacts you multiple times for same issue, then you should look for systems/notifications failures rather than assuming that customer is the issue. Also, experience with service is very dependent on which representative you reach. I used to recommend this service and app. Not the case anymore.
