I used to recommend Truecaller all the time. Paid for premium a long while now, but sadly the app feels like a former shell of itself. The primary feature of stopping spam calls barely works. A bunch of robocalls still get through unflagged. Number lookup never returns a result, ever. It used to and do so pretty well, but its useless now. Googling the number does a better job. Also it seems the auto-update list toggle doesn't actually update anything as much as it just hounds you with notifications to open the app and manually update it once a day. I won't be renewing premium and will be deleting the app. I'm out.
It use to suggest Spam or Possible Spam now it’s been almost two months since any call was identified and I get spam after spam with NOTHING from true caller
Good App. To find contacts....
Seems the scammers are always 1 step ahead of this service, I’m getting calls from 9 digit callers, no caller id & I haven’t noticed any slow down on 10 digit calls.
I’ve had this app months now for awhile it was working but ever since the past updates the promise of blocking of spam/scam calls has been broken. Calls getting through has drop none to weekly to daily now. Whats even worse the calls getting through are sometimes the ones I’ve blocked and others base in data so my trust on this app is very close to non existent so unfortunately I can’t say I recommend this app in fact I feel this app is a scam to forcefully buy premium and telling how the maker of this app really fill the gap of rich/pay and poor/freedom.
You are renewing monthly and im not using the app. Stop renewing. I will officially complain
The app hasnt been working for months now. I enter a number and it keeps loading without any result. At times it just gives me connection error.
Been waiting for 30 minutes to receive a confirmation code and still nothing. Really doesn’t deserve a 1 star. Maybe needs a fix.
I pay for the premium version so that the spam list will automatically update, but it doesn’t seem to do that after the last update. I’m going back to the free version.
