This is a good app for vocabulary when you are just about to travel, but if you actually want to learn the language, it doesn’t teach any grammar, or explain the culture behind the verbs.

This is a great app!

I recommend using it! But the thing that bugs me is like to learn time you have to be pro.

The Search Option

Really great app! Very helpful! I am having trouble with the search option. Nothing happens when I search a word. But otherwise great! 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

Great just one thing

I honestly love this app but their is one thing, to get all of them you have to sign up for something that costs money, and you only get about five things at first but you get numbers, eating out food and a little more but this app is amazing and I totally love it and it doesn't glitch for me so overall I personally love this app thank you for reading this and I suggest this app for everyone who wants to learn Japanese!😊

AMAZING!

This is an absolutely amazing app I can’t say thank you enough! I use it daily and I’ve learned so many things easily. This is my first time writing a review and I was hoping maybe if you could also add animals names too? Then it would be 100% complete! Thank you again!

Someone not fluent.

I’ve been trying to learn Japanese for a while now, and unlike other Japanese learning apps that make you cite the word, this one is so much better because it shows how to pronounce, write, and the spelling. It’s basically perfect for practice instead of spending money on lessons. While some things you have to pay for, as long as you can learn the basics that’s good enough. For no reason I’ve wanted to learn Japanese except for the fact I one day do want to go there, and also since I’ve watched anime ever since Elementary years. But this app is really great and helpful.

Excellent for English speaking tourists

This app has dozens of helpful words and phrases for travelers, written in kanji and the English alphabet, and pronounced both quickly and slowly. While one could get by with the free phrases—there are many of them—I highly recommend spending the $5 for the complete app, which unlocks quite a few more. It will probably be the most useful five dollars that you spend on your trip to Japan. Arigato!!
