You can see the blurriness even without zooming in. Unacceptable.
I like everything about the KC Star app except the news videos that posted. Whenever I play a video in the app about halfway through it abruptly stops to buffer, but it never restarts. I have to close the app and restart it. I have deleted the app and reinstalled it without any success in resolving this issue.
Thank you for fixing the Apple Private Relay issue. Now how about fixing the audio override problem? If audio is streaming on a device when the app is launched the app immediately overrides whatever is streaming without any audio being played through the app.
When using the eEdition, pop-up ads block about 25% of the reading screen on my iPad. Customer support is very poor.
What happened to the KC Star? This paper has gone downhill thanks to completely biased reporting. Does the publisher realize that in this case, spitting out the same garbage as the national syndicates whose numbers have plummeted to all time lows, imitation is not the best form of flattery. Don’t waste you’re time with this drivel until they get back to unbiased reporting.
I’m a paid subscriber. The log in portion of the app does not work on the iPad (it does on the iPhone and through a browser). I attempted to call customer service and received a recording to call back during regular business hours. However, the recording didn’t state the business hours and the hours do not appear to be shown on the web page or within the app. Overall, a frustrating experience.
For a publication of this size, you’d expect to have searchability.
All of the news bits are AMAZING. There’s just one other thing I grew up on. THE COMICS!! I just can’t find them?yes!
Pulling up archived papers works really well, but the home tab always displays an error and never loads any current articles.
The content of the Star is top notch but I cannot read it all the time without this bug infested app crashing. I have done multiple deletes, downloads and restarts to correct this. This is the only advice the developers have to solve these problems. They rely on me having to take the disappointing effort to fix it rather than doing any real coding solutions on their side
