I was so excited to use this app. I’m glad i only bought the monthly subscription because i can’t use it. I’ve got a list of several natives that i wanted to plot out using this app. Unfortunately the first 12 plants/trees I went to search for aren’t even on here. I live in Austin TX. Maybe this app is written more for other regions. Its a bust for me. Heres that they DIDNT have: Mountain Laurel tree, black dalea, artemisia, calyophus, Mexican butterfly weed, gulf coast penstemon, sage/penstemon, rock penstemon, mexican oregano, iris bicolor, texas lantana. I gave up looking after that.
There are many options within this app. So many variations of grass, pavers, plants and trees. Want to see how they look in your yard design? You can click the first one offered in the row. After that the “upgrade for $9.99” box repeatedly pops up. So basically my yard already has grass and pavers and so I have to pay to see anything else. This is great if u have a patch of dirt and want to see what it looks like with a patch of green and a paver. May as well buy a green tarp and throw a couple pavers down rather than waste time looking at pop ups.
Constantly freezes, glitches and crashes, making it impossible to use. The feature that really glitches the app is the upload from your own photos, what a mess. I paid $9.99 and all I got was a headache. I’d like a refund!
Not really free when you have to pay for PRO in order to choose the smallest changes or use simple tools
For a paid app, this should run a lot smoother. It’s great when it works. But it isn’t working well. Will not keep.
For the casual homeowner wanting to do their own landscape design, this app is ridiculously overpriced. You can’t do *anything* with the free version, it’s not even a good test drive. I would be willing to pay the $99 if it was lifetime, but no way I’ll pay $300 a year after the first year.
Requires $10 purchase to place image and then after paying image library is all of a sudden empty. Stay away if plan to use this just for a weekend / month project. Requires full Pro Subscription to be useful.
No way to rotate objects. Inserts 10% larger than real size. Inserts objects 2 feet above real ground level.
Downloaded the app excited to design my front yard and it is completely useless. No features, just the option to take a pic of your yard and badly place gravel, grass, etc on top like a bad photoshop pic. Not intuitive. Waste of time and I’m a designer!!!
$30 per month just to use it once in a while as a homeowner looking to plan a small garden project. Waste of money. I could probably use some photos off the internet and photoshop them into a picture of my front entrance. What a joke. 🤑🤑🤑🤑
