Many online language learning apps will promise that you can learn a language in just a few minutes a dayHowever, there is a significant difference between memorizing vocabulary lists and speaking a language with confidence. Learning a language is about more than just the words. One of the mistakes new language learners make is treating language as an object or an end goal instead of as an experience. Pretty good but sometimes microphone doesn’t work
First, the good: - lessons are well constructed and cleverly planned - lots of nice features to customize the lessons to your individual needs - easy for children to use Now the bad: -Voice recognition is a complete failure. Absolutely without question the worst voice recognition performance of any language learning app. Ruins the experience and it’s very frustrating for younger learners especially - provides some conversational skills but little foundation - Not worth the money. Considering the lack of customer support, outdated interface, and truly terrible speech recognition, $189 is way, way overpriced. Worth a couple dollars a month at best.
I have had a goal of learning Italian for years. I have the Rosetta Stone Program on CD for a few years and have used it on and off. I finally decided to get the app and I have used it regularly every day. It makes it so convenient to use! It helps me stay focused on my goal of learning Italian. What a wonderful tool!!!
It is a very helpful program but the price is pretty high.
Working on learning French for work, can’t wait to see how fast I can pick the new language
I’ve been using this app for four weeks now, and I can definitely see an improvement. I am already a proficient Spanish speaker, but my goal is to become fluent. I especially needed to work on pronouns/direct objects/indirect objects, the various verb tenses, and to expand my vocabulary. While at first I found it to be kind of redundant and repetitive, I was also picking up some new skills and refining old ones. But the real improvement became especially obvious a couple of days ago when I was able to speak with a Spanish-speaking patient for nearly two hours, conversing and translating the questions/answers between my patient and my non-Spanish-speaking teammates. I honestly impressed myself! I am definitely pleased with how this app/program is working for me. Worth the money for sure!
Really fun. Really PORTABLE!
I keep on saying it right but it keeps on making me use other people voices I have to go deep and high and I’m a boy
It is not boring ,that is why it is much more effective then working with a normal book!
This app is amazing I really like it and I enjoy it but... it never tells you what you’re saying like you could be talking to someone in this other language and you’ll have no idea what you’re saying. I think it has great potential but if it tells you what you’re going to say that I think it would be better.
