I purchased for use it in Zoom . It doesn’t work at all. For some one who has same intentions. Do not pay for this. I wish I can get money back total waste.
I ran into a lot of issues installing and connecting between Mac and iPhone. The lag time on WiFi makes it pretty useless for anything with speaking or sound. While it does stream video from your phone it does not pick up audio so you still need your computer nearby to capture the audio. I was very excited to use this for meetings and live streams but just scrapped it all due to these issues.
What the title says
I initially tried the free version and got it to work with Zoom, so I bought the HD version. I have an iPhone 8+, my Mac is running Catalina. I followed all the instructions and it worked just fine. I’m not sure I am actually going to use it though because I just want to be able to recommend it to PC users and Mac Mini users. You do need to have the phone on a tripod for stability.
Zoom won’t recognize EpocCam. It sees it as an option for a webcam, but but once selected it’s blank. Then when you start the meeting it gives an error. Too bad because it seems handy.
I want my money back, this app does not work with Mac. I have Mac Pro 2019, and it does not work for me. It only works on Windows. What a disappointment!!!!!
No auto rotate
I bought this app because I wanted to use my iPhone as a webcam. I did everything the app said to do. So downloaded the drivers and everything. So why is it bad? Simply cause it never connects. I have tried it all I plugged it in I made sure both my pc (not mac) are on the same network. Hooked up tried usb nope. Tried WiFi nope, even NDI NOPE. This thing only connected 2x in the entire 2 months I bought this. It’s a joke
This could just be me but I can’t get this to work with my Mac running Catalina. This would be great but my MacBook does not recognize the video feed. It sees the app for microphone but not video. I hope this is user error or I just wasted $8.
Just wanted this to work with zoom and guess what... paid to find out it doesn’t work.
