The Best Email app for work & educational
Not at all secure
I think Gmail is great and it’s fun and easy the only problem is that it is possible for some one to hack but otherwise it’s great.
I’ve been using gmail since the beginning and their services just get better every year.
Maybe this is just a me problem but I couldn’t figure out an easy way to change the font style or size. That seems like such a basic function to overlook. The Apple email app it is right on the bottom bar but nowhere to be found on the gmail app. Anyone else?
Just terrible compared to android. The frame drop and skittering is insane on longer emails. Like if I'm looking through the email deals from Costco or skimming a newsletter it's awful even on 120HZ iphone 13 pro. Hopefully they fix this by making the app a more native experience. I've switched to Outlook for my gmail. Also when you share from the share sheet with it, there's a major lag before it shows sent and moves away from your screen, I usually get tired of waiting and just manually try to flick it away. So freaking sick of this.
Problem with push notifications, please fix!
It needs the option for adding custom filters for messages within the app. Example: when you receive a message from a certain sender it goes to a folder you select or gets read automatically or gets archived automatically. Having to go to the desktop site to do that is cumbersome. With the most recent app update, something that quietly disappeared was the ability to click and hold an email that just came in and select "mark as read". For now, it's back to the old way, you can only close the notification or send it to archive. Bring this feature back please i was enjoying it
What is wrong with notifications i have to look on my mail before I notice i have an inbox I don’t get notifications for mail which is very bad please bring back the old notification tune
I keep getting adds popping up in my email. If I try to delete and say I don’t want to see them, google decides to show them to me more. Basically I have to ignore and hope it cycles through more.
